Pace of play issue
Yesterday afternoon was ridiculous. I planned on playing 18. Something or someone held everyone up. No rangers to be had. Usually better but yesterday was terrible. I left after 9. Couldn’t take it any longer. May not return for a while.
Good condition
The course is in very good shape. The greens are soft and the same speed. Challenging but good fun.
Course is ok but no place to bailout on a lot of holes
The course in general is in good shape but the layout will be challenging for some golfers. A lot of the holes have the preserve on one side and water on the other. So, if you tend to miss your drive once in a while, you have no safe side to go to. Pace of play was brutal that day but I suspect it was one specific group and might not be the typical pace.

Very good and challenging course. We are seniors and played the white/green combination.
Play was slow this day.
A little frustrating
We had a 4some ahead of us that was extremely slow. Fortunately they only played 9 holes. When we got to the 10 holes we could see that 10-11-12 were totally opened. The player assistant should not tolerate that or force them to let others thru when they see 3 holes open. Just a suggestion.
Perfect!
Everything is five star about this course. The price is fair especially considering some courses that charge over $100 in season.
Outstanding Golfing Experience
Lost Lake was worth the 50 minute drive. Beautiful course, great practice areas and friendly staff. The pace was slower than it should have been. There were rangers out there but it didn’t seem to move the pace much if at all. My only complaint. Will definitely be back. Good value even in peak season.
