Golfer Reviews
RUDE RANGER
The cart staff were great staff who check me in friendly. Was paired with 3 others to make sure we had a 4 some. Teed off on time played 7 holes were keeping pace. Tracker on cart said 20 minutes ahead of time. Ranger comes up to us and said you have a hole open in front of you. We we ahead of pace and wants us to speed up? Asked him to look at the timer on cart. Said dont care speed up. Waits for us to tee off. Then drives off. Finished front in less than 1 1/2 hours. 4 players and worst score is 39. Go to back side ranger comes up and says speed up again as we are in the fairway and group just leaving the green? Played in 3 hours and you want us to speed up really?
Let the cart guys know they apologize for the ranger. Not their fault but thought this was ridiculous. Our scores were 74,75,74,71. Not like we spent time looking for balls. Only the ones that plugged in fairways.
Its not a RACE.
If you are not an early tee time expect a 5+ hour round
Course has potential but with it being one of only 3 public courses in the area it gets really backed up. We had a ranger come out multiple times to tell the groups in front of us to speed up yet they never did. What's the point of a ranger? Modern carts have timing and gps built in yet we stayed 1 hour behind pace of play. It's really not that hard to figure out who the issue is and if they don't speed up enforce your written rules. Get out there at 7am or find another course.
The course was wet due to rain but was still allowed to use 90 degree run with carts. Greens were very good.
Cart Path Only
Tough decision to make. Open with cart path only and soggy fairways or close. No win situation. We played and made the best of it. The course is in excellent condition but offset by the wet conditions. Maybe a discount in the future? Will come back on a dry day.
Soggy but fun group of guys
Played here after heavy rains. Cart path only, but golf was meant to be played walking. It’s like a sanctuary back there with birds and water and cool bridges taking you to a few of the wholes. Greens were in great shape. Despite loads of rain, the fairways weren’t too bad. I look forward to playing here again. I played to two guys that have been playing this course for years and that made the round all that much more enjoyable! Thanks John and Bill!
On a scale of one to 10 I give it a 10 excellent shape love playing here
Nice Round
Very good conditions, the course is in great shape. Weather cooperated, thoroughly enjoyed the round. Everyone associated with the course was very helpful and friendly.
Great Course, Bad Weather
The course, practice area, and staff are always great. Weather's iffy in Florida but policy using cart screen to advise that course now Cart Part Only strands you in fairway pushing cart and getting very wet.
Great course
Great facility top to bottom. Hot dog at the turn was top tier
Enjoyable round
Course is well maintained, greens firm and rolled well.
