Excellent course!
Awesome day at Goose Pond Plantation!
Two of us played 18 holes is under 3 hours! The greens are some of the best in north/central Alabama!

A Hidden Gem
Tucked in the hills you will find a hidden gem. I had played Goose Pond Lake course six months ago and thought that I had made a tee time for that course. Upon arrival at the lake course I found that the lake course was closed for a tournament and I had made a tee time for the Plantation course. We were greeted by a very nice young lady at the pro shop. The greens and fairways were in great shape. The staff we met on the course great. A fun course to play with water, sand, and design to make the round a challenge but fun. The views are awesome, the course is in a valley surrounded by mountains and the trees are changing colors, Beautiful!
Fun, scoring course
If you get confident striking the ball well, you are going to enjoy scoring. The greens are relatively small, so any green in regulation will give you a scoring opportunity. The greens roll pure. They have plenty of break and speed. Read them correctly and the ball finds the cup.
If you play well, you will be rewarded with a beautiful scorecard.

Course is average. It was very dry and the greens were very grainy. Sand traps all needed work. The hot deal rate of $30.99 was too high in my opinion. The rack rate at this course is $50.00 which is utterly ridiculous. This course should be $40.00 at the most.
Great course
Played 15 Sep. Pro shop let me off before my scheduled tee time which was awesome. Course in good shape. Drains well even as it was raining when I played. Greens in great shape. Will definitely return.

Wonderful course to play for all handicaps I’m sure if you never played it you will find it challenging.

My favorite course!
I love playing at this course even though it’s 45 minutes from my home. The layout is great and I have never ran into anyone out there with bad etiquette. Very peaceful and just a fun place to play.
We Really Had Fun!!!
We loved the course. Just 2 of us and we got behind a slow moving group but they let us play through. Really nice guys.
The greens are a little hard to read but the course is outstanding. No bare patches, just beautiful greens.
We are planning another visit.

Try to get out to Plantation about once a month. Best greens in the area. Course layout is simple but fun.

The greens are excellent. The fairway are not in perfect shape but good. Some of the teasition areas definitely need improvement. Overall a fun course to play, especially if you are trying to find your game.
This course is one of my favorites to play. The course is in great shape. Staff is friendly and always helpful.
