Got there early our 3rd was late so just the two of us went off right away.
Course is marked very well. Follow the cart paths. The yardage markers in fair ways could be better.
Greens we great..... super good layout
Pricey and Burned Out by EOY
During Spring driving range is closed just FYI. The price is crazy unless you get a deal like a Groupon or play off times. The course was burned out bad at the end of the season when I went last year. Beautiful conditions this April though.
Iron Valley
Got a chance to play IV on 11/8. It’s an excellent course and I’m looking forward to playing it again.
Price tag a little high
Really neat course with some awesome holes. Had an almost 5 hour round and waited on every tee box/second shot. It is a really nice course but the 79$ price tag is a bit excessive. This is definitely a 40-50$ course(in my opinion)
Iron Valley Strong
Very Fair layout fast but true greens. Not too much trouble hidden and no force carries. Can’t wait for the chance to go and play again.
fun layout with outstanding views
weather was only disappointment as it had been cloudy and damp for a few days........course was in excellent shape and had a lot of fun.......would not recommend for someone prone to falling as it is very slippery on the cart paths and some greens and fairways ........just the way it is.......had a nice time in spite of the weather
Really nice course except for 2 shots
I really enjoyed this course today. It is a very difficult course and the greens were running extremely fast and the greens were treacherous with some challenging pin placements. I enjoyed the layout a lot except for the second shot on 2 of the par 5s (#7 was especially unfair and # 13 which had a little more room) where there really is not much of a place to reasonably lay up. My friend and I played the blue tees which was long for me (I am not a big hitter) but I managed. Beautiful layout and scenery. Some of the greens were 'normal' and some were very long and narrow.
Not worth the price
The course has a very fun layout but some fairways were in terrible condition, it almost looked like they were scraped with a piece of machinery. The course was definitely not worth the $79 price tag for the condition it was in. I drove over an hour to the course on the suggestion of a friend, it was not worth the drive!
Beautiful, Tough Course-Condition Needs Improving
This course has some beautiful views and very challenging holes. The fairways plunge up and down and leave you with some tough approaches; if you miss, you need a very good short game to even have a chance at par (or bogey). The greens were in beautiful shape, however, the fairways had some bare patches as did some of the tees. It is definitely worth playing but if they improve the overall conditions it will be a solid 10.
Needs work
Played this a few times a year, for years. Never seen it so bad, Greens great but fairways & tee boxes not so much. Probably had to do with virus & weather. Super lay out for better then average golfers. Bucket list for sure.
Incredible Experience
Love this course, the hole layouts were interesting and appealing to the eye. The views you had were incredible. The greens rolled true and at a good speed. Some fairways had some bare patches but it never affected my round. Overall after finishing this round I wanted to play the course again.
