Country Club Feel
Everything about Iron Valley says country Club, except that I was able to book a tee time there.
Great layout
Only complaint is flying bugs constant irritation. Will always be a puzzle I will never solve but love to keep trying. Tea boxes, fairways & greens are always perfect. Great food & drink selections.
Iron Valley
Iron Valley is one of the best courses in PA. It is very challenging as it features dramatic elevation changes on several holes. You'll also encounter some blind shots. It's not for the faint of heart, but it is also a very beautiful course. The course was in great shape as well. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes hilly courses.
Love this course
I've played this course twice. First time was fogged in for the first 3 holes. Absolutely surreal. Second time was a 6:50 am start. Just me, my son, and a few groundskeepers. Rocked a 3 1/4 hr round. Really enjoy the figure 8 layout around natural features. This course captures the local environment really well. Although the course is difficult at times, I as a 20 hcp feel at ease.
Great layout
Love it especially the back nine. Bring a good attitude & extra balls. Being a good putter is a MUST.
Long and tight
This course is designed for low handicappers and is a bit tough and long for the average golfer. The course is in great shape.
A hidden gem
We had a great day out there on the course. A little slow on the front 9. The round took roughly 5 hours total. Despite not having much rain, the course was in excellent shape. We’ll be back!
Quality course
Pro shop said I could walk, but only $5 cheaper. If I'd tried to walk using my push cart, I would have struggled and I'm in decent shape. Excellent conditions, friendly and helpful staff. Wish I could play it again, but I'm 800 miles away.
Pace and Setup
It’s a shame that they let guys cut cups who clearly don’t understand course setup. This is a Pete Dye design which means it will protect itself, placing tricked out pins on a Sunday just leads to 5 hour rounds. No Ranger in sight all day.

The Valley
Nice course but do not play if you’re not ready. Make sure you bring your A game. The rough was up and finding your ball in it was time consuming. Greens were nice as well as fairways. Starter was stressed out as they packed the course. I guess that’s not a bad thing. Got to hit your drive straight but even when you do like on 16 the banking of the fairway may still land you in the rough. My favorite hole is #1 but the ratings on the card need to be looked at. Number 6 in my opinion is the hardest hole on the course.

Beautiful
After the dense fog lifted on the 4th you could actually appreciate how beautiful this course is. Such a relaxing environment to play a challenging course. Enjoyed every minute of the round. Will definitely be back.
Challenging and In Great Shape
Played this weekend for the first time at Iron Valley in over 5 years. The course was in fabulous shape and the staff could not be nicer and more friendly. Highly recommend this course to be put into your rotation!
