Dunes/Bluffs Golf Course at Boulder Pointe Golf Club

Course was excellent, except for the abundant amount of rocks and stones that seem to take the place of sand in the bunkers. I was hesitant to hit any of my clubs from them, for the sake of sparing damage. Otherwise good course, decent track, very scoreable.

Played on Sunday 5/25/14, weather was perfect! Clubhouse staff and starter extremely helpful and friendly!! Two things I didn't understand, there were no refreshment carts, something about slowing down play? We were never pushed and hardly waited on the tee box. We let a twosome play through. Also the course and no ball washers at n hole.

Great course to play, fabulous views, well maintain course.

Budweiser was great. Golf course was decent. That's it.

Paired up with a father and son (45 + 18). They weren't very good and we played our second nine without them. The grass wasn't green yet but heights were good. Greens were firm and a decent speed. Courses with members shouldn't send out Singles who want to drive around foursomes and twosomes. Geez, pair them up. We saw several.

The course is just coming back from a tough winter - the greens were running slower than usual. The course is very playable when the heather and brush is still down. Greenside bunkers need to be improved- there were rocks in most of the them.

Golf.now is very user-friend on-line system.

Boulder Pointe-I have not played the course over 15 years and is still beautifully maintained, even with leaves falling, no leaves on fairways or greens. Played there on Sunday at 11:30 am and finished in 3.5 hours....perfect!

Thank you staff for a wonderful day at Boulder Pointe in Oxford, MI. Went for dinner at the restaurant on main road, I believe, the Smokehouse...something like that. Impeccable food and service. It was the PERFECT DAY for both my husband and I.

Three distinct nines, all with different looks and all fun to play.

Was a very slow round because there is trouble but very open and should be easier then most to find and have your ball in play I've seen the greens better but still rolled well

Went out as a solo player and was teamed up with a great couple of guys (Chris and Eric). Really nice staff also.

Have played this course before and greens have never been this bad. I love course layout--staff are very friendly--well maintained except greens--would not recommend at this time

We played the Dunes to Bluffs. Enjoyed the nice conditions of the tee boxes, fairways, and greens. The holes were nice and spread out. The fairways were very fair, wide enough to give you a little room to work the ball left to right and right to left, but if you missed you would pay and be in the tall grass. The only part of this course that was in poor condition were the bunkers, they all had very large rocks in them and the sand was hard.

Pace of play little slow, but picked up after ranger was notified.

It's a must golf course. I can't say one bad thing

Course condition is prestine except green condition, real green is far too slow and erratic as compared to practice green

We have already put this course on our list to play again this year and next. Course is beautiful, greens are excellent. The whole course is in great shape. Wow, I have played in Florida this year, gaylord area and others and this was by far the nicest course.

The course is in good shape with a challenging design. The only criticism is that there were many ball marks that were not repaired.

by far the best course I've played in Michigan so far. course in great condition from end to end. great rolling greens. only issue is with mishits is the vast amount of fescue all around the course. this is the only time consuming part of the round. highly recommended.

Shepherds Hollow and the like may get more publicity than this gem north of town, but for overall experience I would rank it right up there with the best Detroit has to offer. I can't remember the last time I was able to play a course in such great condition tee to green. There is enough nuance and strategy in the design, especially the Dunes 9, to keep a golfer interested. REALLY enjoy Boulder Pointe and I will be back.
