The 2nd green on the Dunes Nine. This is a medium length par three over a creek with a green that slopes back to front. There is also a pond that guards most of the left side of this green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

My approach shot on the 7th hole on the Bluffs Nine. Despite it being above my feet about three inches and in 38 degree weather, I hit this absolutely perfect. 5 yard draw and stopped on a dime from 181 out. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Nearly holed the approach shot on the 7th hole on the Bluffs for eagle! Tapped it in with the 5 iron! :) Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Awesome course.
Went out as a solo player and was teamed up with a great couple of guys (Chris and Eric). Really nice staff also.
Nice course layout but terrible greens
Have played this course before and greens have never been this bad. I love course layout--staff are very friendly--well maintained except greens--would not recommend at this time
Great Course Layout
We played the Dunes to Bluffs. Enjoyed the nice conditions of the tee boxes, fairways, and greens. The holes were nice and spread out. The fairways were very fair, wide enough to give you a little room to work the ball left to right and right to left, but if you missed you would pay and be in the tall grass. The only part of this course that was in poor condition were the bunkers, they all had very large rocks in them and the sand was hard.
Good course little on expensive side
Pace of play little slow, but picked up after ranger was notified.
Excellent
It's a must golf course. I can't say one bad thing
Slow green perfect layout
Course condition is prestine except green condition, real green is far too slow and erratic as compared to practice green
Boulder Pointe was an awesome course. It was a real surprise how nice the course was. Every hole was very unique!
We have already put this course on our list to play again this year and next. Course is beautiful, greens are excellent. The whole course is in great shape. Wow, I have played in Florida this year, gaylord area and others and this was by far the nicest course.
Excellent course with a variety of terrain.
The course is in good shape with a challenging design. The only criticism is that there were many ball marks that were not repaired.
fantastic course
by far the best course I've played in Michigan so far. course in great condition from end to end. great rolling greens. only issue is with mishits is the vast amount of fescue all around the course. this is the only time consuming part of the round. highly recommended.
Unmatched conditioning
Shepherds Hollow and the like may get more publicity than this gem north of town, but for overall experience I would rank it right up there with the best Detroit has to offer. I can't remember the last time I was able to play a course in such great condition tee to green. There is enough nuance and strategy in the design, especially the Dunes 9, to keep a golfer interested. REALLY enjoy Boulder Pointe and I will be back.
Great course
The course was in great shape. Had a friend in from Traverse City that loved the course and believed that it compared favorably with many up north courses
Always Worthwhile
Cannot go wrong at Boulder pointe, worthwhile for sure, and with 3 Nine's, you can mix and match, and never get board. Great Track, and a must play annually if not more often.
The greens at Boulder Pointe were in excellent shape and well manicured. Putts held the line you started them out on.
My wife and I were met by a very eager bag boy who was very pleasant and polite. Staff inside the pro shop was eager to get us started on our round as soon as we were ready. We found the starter, checked in and were told which groups to follow off the tee.
The course was very well maintained despite the recent heavy rains in our area. Fairways well defined, first cut of rough was friendly, but just enough to want you to keep it in the fairway. Greens were excellent for speed and trueness of your putts.
We will be playing Boulder Pointe again in the near future.
Great day of golf
Beautiful day, course in great condition. Greens were very fast and challenging. Played all 27 enjoyed every nine. I will return soon
Great shape!
The course conditions are some of the best I have played all year long. Played the Dunes and Bluffs which are the two best courses at the facility.
Staff was very courteous and friendly!
Overall a great golf course, I will be back multiple times this year.
Very good deal, but still need to drive over 40 minutes from home.
The green of the GC needs some work. Besides that, we all like the golf course.
Love the layout
I haven't played this course in a couple years. Still a very fun course to play. The negatives, they no longer have GPS on their carts and some greens were cracked and damaged which is shocking with all the rain we've had.
Plenty of Enjoyable and Memorable Holes
This course has quite a few visually appealing holes. The 120 yard #4 on the Peaks is a terrific little downhill wedge shot overlooking the lake. Also #9 on the Bluffs, and the finishing holes on the Dunes are all worth the wait... great view and cool golf shots. Houses are not a large distraction.. a surprise given the large housing development that surrounds the course. Well worth the visit.
Very nice course with three 9's.
Have played here numerous times with friends and we always have a great time. Challenging but fair.
Extremely tough pins
For a Sunday afternoon and 90 degrees outside, I expected pin positions to be in easier locations to keep the pace of play moving. We counted 7 pins that were next to impossible to get close to because of their placement. If the course was looking to have 5-hour rounds, then the pin placements succeeded.
The greens were aerified at this time. They are done early to insure that they heal quickly for the fall and come in true for the spring. They were in great shape a week and a half later than this comment.
