About
Coyote Preserve Golf Club in Fenton is one of the only courses in the area designed by Arnold Palmer. The course has a hilly terrain that provides plenty of elevation changes a well as stunning views. Tumbling across deep ravines and native wetlands, the layout requires many carries over dramatic depressions and water hazards but many are seemingly intimidating but actually quite reasonable. Massive, finely sculpted bunkers strategically frame the greensides of many holes. While some of them are manageable, others are deep and sod-faced. The tricky hazards in conjunction with the dramatic elevations demand both accuracy and creative shot-making. The golf course has a memorable finish with a par-5, risk-reward hole. There is ample room off the tee on this downhill, dogleg left hole and it presents a few different options for the second shot. With some thought, scoring par is definitely a possibility.

Great value
Loved the course. Only area i can ding them on in pace of play. They seemed over booked especially for a Monday. We were paired with two other people who were very slow.
Amazing and Challenging
The course is challenging, be sure to pick the right tees for the level of your game. Excellent condition, great prices. Put this course on your must play list

Not crowded, great service, phenomenal course, absolutely must play.
AP
This is probably the best track in lower Michigan. AP design is tough but fair. Price was fair given the condition of the course. It is not immaculate.
My only gripe is an ongoing theme with many courses... they dont trim trees and vegetation to keep with original design. The course just gets slowly smaller as the stuff grows in. Number 16 in particular I think Arnie envisioned a possible second shot to the green,(risk/reward) but because they have let it all grow in and up it's not possible anymore.

We had a beautiful day, beautiful round, and a wonderful experience! The course was in great shape! We make it up here at least once a year- it’s always a treat!
Poorly ran, great views
For a tee time that averages between 50-90$, this course was very underwhelming. One practice green that was overran by the 300 golfers warming up for the day. Set off by a starter that helped the pace; for one hole. After the par 5 first each hole lasted about 25 minutes per. Not realistic no matter the course.
Fairways were poor, stringy, uncut and littered with divots. Bunkers unraked and ran through, maybe I just set my expectations too high. Bar girl gave everyone in my group an attitude and walked out when I asked for a brat, which she was sure to correct me, "it's a hotdog" before breezing out.
Beautiful course
Truly beautiful course that was really fun to play. I can’t wait to play here again after all the foliage fills out. One of my most memorable rounds I’ve had with my son. Highly recommended!
