Chenoweth Golf Course

So this was my first time playing here but won’t be my last. Took my 8 year old son with me. Wasn’t sure how the course dealt with kids but from initial hello I was impressed. Told my son to grab himself a ball from behind the counter and have fun playing with dad. My son just putted with me once we hit the green. Course itself was in great condition. No complaints there. My only negatives would be the slow play I encountered on the second nine. We went off the back nine first so around hold 3 we were having to wait for a group two ahead of us to get out the way just so the group in front of us could tee off. This after completing our first nine in around hour and a half. Would have been nicer to do both sides in 2 hours versus 3 plus on one side Just made it feel much slower for the total round. Otherwise loved our time out there.

We caught up to a foursome about half way through the front nine. They made no effort to let us play through on the front or back nine. We never saw a ranger so it 4:36 minutes to complete our round. That was totally ridiculous. By the way, I’m an amputee, so I don’t move as fast as I used to.

It is a nice course and better since they removed a lot of trees. Price is a little higher than it should be.

I paid online but course said they did not receive payment. We paid cash at course. Then there was a not I owed ?40. What's going on

It was suppose to be 100 percent chance of rain never rained , got a hole in one , staff were very friendly great course for any player

3 hours 25 minutes to play the front nine with an on-time 11:27 AM. teatime. I played 10 and then 11 and it took another 35 minutes. Staff was courteous and provided me a nine hole rain check because it was going to take 8+ hours to finish 18. Kind of bummer but a local favorite. Just wish this course would space the tee times out a little more and if people show up late not just cram them out between groups.

Was a little backed up to start but decent pace after. The course seams to have been cleaned up with tree work recently but a very well kept, consistent-paced greens. Will be going back soon.

Trees down (cut), water every where. Worms on the the first green( from over night) what the is going on. Only the first holes fairway seemed to be really cut? But the best was $34 to play 9 in April, not July! You people should be ashamed of yourself. It's April and if there's to much water than CLOSE the coarse until it's under control. But NO you made sure you got the CASH TODAY! No need to worry WON'T BE BACK! This seems to be common practice on how to treat the public that puts their hard earned money out to try and have some enjoyment golfing. Pace of play was a joke after the first hole. BTW Never saw a grounds keeper or ranger after the first tee. (The starter was the high-point of this experience)

I played the course during the eclipse and had a great experience with the workers and play. For the beginning of the year, the course was in pretty good shape. Asked a groundskeeper for some advise, he was a friendly guy
