Too busy
Unfortunately with the weather being so nice everyone and their grandmother was out golfing. The pace of play was absolutely horrendous. Took 3 hours to play nine holes.
Nice public course
Played here several times over the years and it's always a good experience. The staff is always friendly and the course conditions are always good. The front nine is tight and requires the right decision off the tee. The back is more open but the wind will make a difference like it did today. Overall, I will continue to play here as it's a good value and fun course.
Advertisement is Everything
I’ve played here frequently in the past. Chenoweth is a good track, pace of play is usually iffy but it’s a fun course. I booked on GolfNow, so I’m not sure if this was advertised on the website beforehand (I checked today and nothing was posted about it). I arrived well before my tee time to find that the 18 holes I payed for would only be playing the front 9 twice. They were aerating the back 9. I’m pretty frustrated that nothing was said before I booked but whatever. I get out to play, get through 7 holes and get stuck behind a foursome that won’t let me play through. I ended up booking another course close by while I sat and waited for 10 minutes on the 8th tee. Jetted out and saw that I would’ve been stuck behind two more foursomes when I made the “turn.” It’s my fault for not canceling when I saw the back was closed, but it was a frustrating experience nonetheless. I’ll play here again, but this particular time out was horrendous.
Give them a try
Great course. Some days are too busy but for the most part a great course
Great conditions
The course was in great condition. I took my brother-in-law and his son for their first visit, and I couldn't have asked for a better day. The pace of Olay was amazingly good, especially for a holiday. If anyone wants a great course for one of the best values in the area they must try Chenoweth!
Nice course
I’ve been here 3-4 times and every time I have been hear, it’s been a great experience!! I think this course is one of my favorite courses so far
Just not worth the money
Tee boxes are overgrown. Tee times are over priced. Tee times are so close together you wait on most holes. Save your money unless you’re in a pinch and need to somewhere to play.
Chenoweth
Course was excellent. Was my first time there and I loved it. The layout seemed a little crammed into the space, but the greens were rolling fast and for the most part true. Pace of play was horrendous. Took my 2some almost 2 hours and 45 minutes to play the front 9. Tee off at 10:45 and didn’t even finish until 4:30.
Nice Course
Overall, this is a very nice course. The maintenance for the price is phenomenal when you catch a hot deal on golfnow. Most of the holes are reachable in two or less shots, lots of dogs legs. But this is nice as you can score low.
Only complaint is play got extremely backed up from hole 7 thru 18.
Slowwwww
I gave this course a second chance on a Tuesday thinking the pace of play would be better then a weekend day. Nope, dead wrong. The first 5 holes were fantastic took 30 minutes. Then you get to hole 6 and it takes hour and half to play 4 holes. On the back 9 same thing first 4 holes no wait at all get to 15 and 3 groups waiting on tee box. Had to wait so long we didn’t even get to finish our round because it would have taken 2 hours plus to finish 5 holes. Very disappointed that this happened a second time. Only good thing at this course is Al and the bartender
Greens were well kept
Really enjoyed it - the second nine we had to wait every hole due to a foursome playing very slow- we didn’t get to play last hole due to slow play and rain
Dirt patches on greens
I would not go to this course at all. It plays like a course that costs 35 per 18 and even then I’d be pressed to play that. Dirt patches on at least half the greens and fringe, fairway not kept up well and the rough is just long grass with more dirt patches. Extremely unimpressed and I probably will not go back
