A great local course
This is my go to course. Challenging but fun. Sometimes I play well…..others not so great!great staff and overall very nice.
5 hour round minimum
I have played this course 4 times, and received a rain check for the back 9 3 of those 4 times.
This most recent attempt was the last straw. They purposely overbook every single time and then act like it was a one time mistake.
This past weekend, i pulled up to the course and there were 6 full foursomes on the first tee. When I go to the pro shop to pay, i hear the guy behind the desk say to the customer on the phone “We are pretty busy today but don’t worry we will squeeze you in”. THE ROUND TOOK 5 HOURS AND 45 MIN NOT INCLUDING THE 30 MIN WAIT TO TEE OFF.
These people are greedy and do not care about your experience. You will be waiting on every shot.
I would have left before teeing off if my ride was on the same page.
DO NOT GO ON A WEEKEND!!
5 1/2 hours to play 18 on Sunday. They were charging $54 and giving tee times every 8 minutes. I told the clubhouse that there were fivesomes teeing off at the 1st hole and they did nothing about it. Every hole had two groups waiting to tee off when we arrived. Made for a miserable experience. The course was in good shape but we couldn't enjoy it. Many golfers said they were leaving early and asking for a raincheck.
EXTREMELY SLOW PLAY
They must’ve let a ton of walk ups play …at one point there were 4 GROUPS WAITING ON A HOLE…will not go back
Regular here
The course is getting better and better. I’m happy that they fixed some of the cart paths. It’s in good shape considering all the play it sees. Staff is always super friendly
Nice course, staff is fantastic and helpful. Other patrons are very kind and funny as well. Carts are the biggest downfall for chenoweth but the carts have nothing to do with the game of golf! Thank you guys for a good time.
Not bad
I usually love this course. Played it twice last year and it was in good shape. Played again yesterday and it wasn’t bad but the greens were very inconsistent. Some were lightning fast and perfectly landscaped. Some were spotty with GUR in a lot of areas. Front nine was in better shape than the back. The back 9, every green was aerated where as the front, none were. Missed a lot of strokes due to the inconsistency on the greens but other than that everything else was nice. The carts are absolute junk but overall I’d play again soon.
Too busy
Unfortunately with the weather being so nice everyone and their grandmother was out golfing. The pace of play was absolutely horrendous. Took 3 hours to play nine holes.
Nice public course
Played here several times over the years and it's always a good experience. The staff is always friendly and the course conditions are always good. The front nine is tight and requires the right decision off the tee. The back is more open but the wind will make a difference like it did today. Overall, I will continue to play here as it's a good value and fun course.
Advertisement is Everything
I’ve played here frequently in the past. Chenoweth is a good track, pace of play is usually iffy but it’s a fun course. I booked on GolfNow, so I’m not sure if this was advertised on the website beforehand (I checked today and nothing was posted about it). I arrived well before my tee time to find that the 18 holes I payed for would only be playing the front 9 twice. They were aerating the back 9. I’m pretty frustrated that nothing was said before I booked but whatever. I get out to play, get through 7 holes and get stuck behind a foursome that won’t let me play through. I ended up booking another course close by while I sat and waited for 10 minutes on the 8th tee. Jetted out and saw that I would’ve been stuck behind two more foursomes when I made the “turn.” It’s my fault for not canceling when I saw the back was closed, but it was a frustrating experience nonetheless. I’ll play here again, but this particular time out was horrendous.
Give them a try
Great course. Some days are too busy but for the most part a great course
Great conditions
The course was in great condition. I took my brother-in-law and his son for their first visit, and I couldn't have asked for a better day. The pace of Olay was amazingly good, especially for a holiday. If anyone wants a great course for one of the best values in the area they must try Chenoweth!
Nice course
I’ve been here 3-4 times and every time I have been hear, it’s been a great experience!! I think this course is one of my favorite courses so far
