Charging more to play but nothing changed
Charging more to play 9 holes and the course is all jacked up. They haven’t fixed any cart paths or put any money into the course itself in years but continue to charge more and more. The lawn mower was going through the course at 2pm mowing while you’re trying to play. I won’t be coming back here.
Great day and place to play!
Our first time here after hearing lots about this course. It was in good shape , fairways were well cared for and greens were in great shape. The short tee boxes need to be flatter but the grass was watered. Everyone, staff and other players were very friendly. I will definitely be back again.
Horrible Pace of Play
This was my first time and probably last time at this course. The pace of play was awful and ruined the experience. Every hole was a 10 min plus wait. No one out on the course moving people a long. The 2 best things about this course was the starter who was a nice guy and the snack bar lady was super nice and friendly! If they ever want this course to do well they need to have someone monitor how many people are out on the course and moving people along.
Great course!!
One of my favorite courses to play in the area! Club house guys are absolutely amazing, bartenders are all awesome and very friendly, the owner and his son are the best! Definitely recommend this course to everyone of all ages. Great prices as well!!!
Hard and Fast
The staff was helpful and friendly getting us off earlier than expected for a Saturday. The front nine was played at a good pace with no backups, but the back nine was a log jam. The course was in pretty good shape as the fairways were running out on drives and the greens were soft and receptive. The speed of the greens were good…fast but fair. All around good pick for a Saturday round.
Pace was extremely slow mid day on a Friday. Tee time was 11:30 but we didn't tee off until at least noon. Starter was there and checked our tickets but that's it. We waited probably 20 minutes to tee off on #7, not sure what the hold up was. 3 hours for 9 holes, it was rough. Course is short, tee boxes were chewed up, but greens were nice and fast.
I will never play Chenoweth again
I had booked a tee time for this course (a Hot Deal) for Father's Day for a round with my dad earlier this week on Monday (6/13). They ended up cancelling my reservation today (the day before Father's Day) without notifying me. When I called GolfNow, they called the course and the course told them the tee time was double booked so they had to cancel one (amazing they chose the Hot Deal to cancel). Upon checking the available tee times on this site, my exact tee time was reposted for Father's Day without a hot deal (roughly $15 more per person). Basically, the course cancelled my Hot Deal to repost it to make more money. Absolutely shady business practice. I will never play this course again.
For what it's worth, GolfNow went above and beyond for me to help in the situation and I appreciate them for that.
