Great course!!
One of my favorite courses to play in the area! Club house guys are absolutely amazing, bartenders are all awesome and very friendly, the owner and his son are the best! Definitely recommend this course to everyone of all ages. Great prices as well!!!
Hard and Fast
The staff was helpful and friendly getting us off earlier than expected for a Saturday. The front nine was played at a good pace with no backups, but the back nine was a log jam. The course was in pretty good shape as the fairways were running out on drives and the greens were soft and receptive. The speed of the greens were good…fast but fair. All around good pick for a Saturday round.
Pace was extremely slow mid day on a Friday. Tee time was 11:30 but we didn't tee off until at least noon. Starter was there and checked our tickets but that's it. We waited probably 20 minutes to tee off on #7, not sure what the hold up was. 3 hours for 9 holes, it was rough. Course is short, tee boxes were chewed up, but greens were nice and fast.
I will never play Chenoweth again
I had booked a tee time for this course (a Hot Deal) for Father's Day for a round with my dad earlier this week on Monday (6/13). They ended up cancelling my reservation today (the day before Father's Day) without notifying me. When I called GolfNow, they called the course and the course told them the tee time was double booked so they had to cancel one (amazing they chose the Hot Deal to cancel). Upon checking the available tee times on this site, my exact tee time was reposted for Father's Day without a hot deal (roughly $15 more per person). Basically, the course cancelled my Hot Deal to repost it to make more money. Absolutely shady business practice. I will never play this course again.
For what it's worth, GolfNow went above and beyond for me to help in the situation and I appreciate them for that.
Golf Now Scam
Booked 9 through golfnow which requires you to pay $22 to the clubhouse upon arrival as well as $5 at the time of booking. In total was $27. Come to find out the course only charges $20 for a cart and 9...
Also, saw my first ever 8some on a public course. The group would not speed up or allow anyone to pass through. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes and starter never made an appearance. Great layout and well maintained unfortunately, the people that play this make it less enjoyable.
Lose the geese!
The only problem I see is an over abundance of geese and the associated goose turds all over the greens. It would be great if some goose relocation efforts were put in place.
Honestly
Course was in nice shape. The cart paths were horrible!!! better off riding in the grass the whole time. Too many dog legs on the front. Might as well keep the driver at home. Back nine was more enjoyable to play. Just not a course I would play again.
Awesome Course
The dryest course I’ve played in spring time. Such a great layout, challenging but still fun to play.
Ohio Spring Golf
The weather in NE Ohio was good enough to get out but unfortunately the previous days rains made the course super wet. Cart Path Only which I understand but the cart paths are absolutely horrible. Giant pot holes, large drop offs, paths are on about 50% of a hole at best.
Course is nice, fairly short, nice layout. Greens were nice, sort of slow but it is early in the year.
We’ll be back in the summer when it dries out and the wind dies down
