tight fairways

Tremendous Course, Championship layout
Not only will I recommend this course to friends, I will go back and play it some more. My uncle and I only played 9 holes, but with the placement of the tees, I can see that 18 holes would certainly give us a different look. The lay out is gorgeous, the fairways, tees and greens were in pristine condition, especially considering all the rain we've had this summer. I'm certainly excited to play it again in the near future.
Hot deal
My 12 year old son and I played this 9 hole course for $3 each on a hot deal. For the price and for a city course, it far exceeded expectations. We'll be back.
Great fun for any level of player.
Mud Run is a good place to bring a golfer of any level of expertise. Nine-hole layout is well-maintained and interesting, not too difficult for a novice (it is home to Akron's First Tee program), and fun for the low handicap player.
Irons course
The cart paths on this course could use some TLC otherwise not a bad course if you're looking to practice with your irons.
Good value, rude staff
Arrived ten minutes early, walked into the clubhouse only to be greeted with "you guys from golfnow? I need you out on the tees!" Not quite sure what the rush was...decent course, pretty easy and short.
Short and fun
The course is a short narrow course that's in great shape this year. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to work on driving and their game inside of 50 yards.

It was a nice course to play 9 holes of golf. Not too crowded
If you just want to golf...
Nice easy First Tee style course to hone skills with short irons and chipping. I lot of the par fours are reachable with a driver or long 3 wood. Has only one par 5 which is straightaway and very reachable in two. I would recommend for a easy day out for golf but not very challenging.
Visiting OH - Pleasant Surprise
I was in town visiting and did not know where to play when I found a really good rate on golfnow. I arrived at the course and was pleasantly surprised at how well maintained this course was. The greens rolled like a billiard table & the fairways were soft, lush and green. Definitely a great value for the price. Not your typical public, 9-hole course. Any golfer and any skill level will enjoy this course.
Great value
Short par 34 course, maintained well, nice staff, pro type or low handicap golfers may be disappointed, but for the average golfer it is a fun little course
Nice 9-hole value for the money
The wetland area surrounding the course provides a wonderful feeling of isolation from the city, so you're free to get into your best game here. That's probably the biggest reason I enjoy Mud Run, and it's ten minutes from downtown Akron... a mighty tempting lunchtime distraction, especially for their course design and nice conditions. For the money it's hard to beat Mud Run and I play it often.
tight little course
This couse is short but was in excellent condition. I posted my best numbers of the year so far,so I loved this course. Short ball strikers with good ball shaping capabilities will find this course plays into their favor. The value was excellent!

You can't beat 9 holes for $14-16. The course isn't immaculate, but I'm a beginner, so it's perfect for me.
