No Raincheck
This is a beautiful course, but they don't give out rainchecks,so we had to play 18 holes on a course that was soaked in rain. Some of the holes had greens that you couldn't reach the cup because the greens had so much water that your ball couldn't roll close to the green. 0
Great Course
I love playing this course every time! Great staff, great conditions, great pace! Easily the best course in the Mahoning Valley!
Bad idea at the flag sticks
As usual the course was great shape . Fairways were in good shape considering this is spring time in Ohio.. the greens were in great shape and pretty fast. My only complaint was the placing of the flagsticks in white PVC plastic pipe sticking 4 inches out of the hole was not a great idea. Hard to tell if anytime the ball hit the PVC pipe it would have gone in or not. I recently played another course where the flagsticks were inserted into a styrofoam -rubber type pin holder that allowed the ball to fall in the hole about 2 inches deep. . But still was a great day.
Better than ever
I think Kennsington is the jewel of Mahoning county. The course is in very good shape for this early in the year.Greens were in very good shape with just a little top dressing barely noticeable. This is one of the very best course layouts in northeast Ohio. All the course personal are very nice.. It’s always a pleasure golfing at Kennsington
Great shape course
Playing Kennsington this early in the spring can be a pretty wet deal, but today the course was in great shape. The greens have been redressed and were in very good shape. Only two fairways were not allowing carts on them. Snack bar not opened yet, but that was expected. All in all it was a great day on a great course
Great golf course near Canfield Ohio
Well kept course from tee to greens. Great layout with lots of character. Highly recommend.
This course is one of the nicest courses in the area and it has some challenging holes
Kennsington Golf Course
Great course, everything was fun & challenging as well! Food was good & all staff we encountered were pleasant & professional! Only problem was some of the tees were a little hard! Otherwise a very nice course to play! Will definitely be back again!
Nice but....
Very nice course with nice pro shop and restaurant. Nice layout. Nice carts with GPS. Greens are average. Fairways were cut nice but did have some dead areas. Only negative was the rough. The rough grass was extremely tall. It really hurt the pace of play. Rough was almost a foot tall in some areas. Other than that we had a great time.
Slow
Greens are loaded with ball marks. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Quit at the turn
Great course.
Been playing here since it opened. Never disappointed. Course in very good condition considering all the rain we have had this summer! Will continue to play here and recommend to others.
Kensington GolfNow Review
Course is an interesting layout. Unfortunately, pace of play is incredibly slow because of the difficulty of the course. People do not play appropriate tee boxes for skill level and the course does nothing to encourage / suggest players play from the appropriate tee boxes. Be prepared for a very long slow round.
I've seen this Place A LOT BETTER
So this course has a great layout and fair bunkers are in good shape but this course gets a lot of rain and they haven't cut the rough in probably over a week fairways are still decent Greens have really went downhill they are just flat out beat up too many unfixed ball marks which really takes away from the experience they're not necessarily slow but bumpy They just are getting too many golfers It took me 3 HOURS and 34 minutes to play 9 holes at number 2 there were 5 groups on the hole 3 whole groups waiting on the tee a group in the fairway and a group on the green the starter essentially is worthless I opted to not even try my second 9 because the wait they just let these outings destroy pace of play not to mention the course. This was my first time here this year but have been playing this course for over 10 years this is as bad as I've seen it the FOOD is Great but the golf is just not up to par
