About
Avon Fields Golf Course is one of the older golf courses in Cincinnati, where it sits on picturesque land that rolls along fairways lined with trees - and it's easily accessible to downtown. The golf course provides tests and good times for golfers at all levels, with elevated and diminutive greens for those who like to play short golf, as well as those who need more practice at it (for those who need more practice in general, the Jimmy Woods Learning Center is onsite).
Avon Fields Golf Course provides 18 holes of par-67 golf over 5,081 yards. Tee off on a par 4 that plays to 369 yards. The course is short compared with megacourses being built elsewhere nowadays: About a third of the holes come in at under 200 yards, even from the Blue tees, while only the fourth hole, the lone par-5 hole, stretches to over 400 yards from the Blue tees.
As the Avon Fields Golf Course is a municipal golf course, expect affordable green fees, and those who can swing a round of golf during the workweek can expect them to be even lower.

Course is fun
Overbooked and forced to play with 2 guys I'd never met. 1 of the guys didn't wanna converse and wasn't happy playing with guys who love golf but not good. It was a miserable experience. The "Pro" yelled at us for having 3 carts but I booked 18 holes for 2 players. They forced the 2 individual guys to play with us and both had their own carts.
I understand the weather was great and lots of people wanting to play but forcing 4 guys playing on 3 levels to play together is bullcrap We also had 4 men 70+ in front of us so it took 4 hours plus for 18 holes.
In 4 years I've never left such negative feedback.

Fun Muni, worth playing
Very fun, challenging course for me. Interesting layout, requires creativity and accuracy. Would play here again and again.

Just terrible
Lay out is terrible fairways are just dirt greens are ok but run slow. This should be 20$ max for 18

Not the best CRC Course
I've played this course numerous times. Each time the Pro (I believe his name is Ron) is incredibly rude to me.

Not Bad
Decent course for a Cinnci municipal. Very hilly but not long, had a good time.

Nice Course for the money
Course is short but has some challenging holes. A few of the holes on the from were soaked from watering, but most on the back needed watering. Overall, Avon is a nice course and a good value.

Course in great shape right now
Played there many of times, course was in great shape, best I’ve seen it in the multiple times I’ve played in the last two years. Pace of play was good, was great money spent.
