Solitude Links Golf Course & Banquet Center in Kimball is one of southeastern Michigan’s premier courses. Golfers from the Detroit metropolitan area and Port Huron and even as far as London in Ontario, Canada flock to the golf course. The layout is spread across gently rolling terrain with both woodlands and wetlands, providing a diverse mix of holes. The greens are large and fast with some mild undulation, some are even ridged or double-tiered, but good shots will be rewarded with level putting surfaces. The tricky opening hole is unique in that there are two greens, which makes it so that it can be played as a par 4 or a more daunting par 5 that plays over water. The challenging island green makes Solitude Links' par-4 eighth another memorable hole. Though you may get a break from the water on the back nine, at least on four holes, sand then becomes a more prominent hazard.

First time played with lots of expectancy and it did not disappoint me at all. Overall condition especially the tee ground and green were one of the best I played this season.
Solitude solid
Great course. Fairways and greens in great shape. Sand could be a little better groomed
The course is in beautiful shape! The greens and T -boxes are big and the huge bonus this year is it handles rain very well! I would recommend this course to everyone but the true beginner and even that golfer would love it …just bring plenty of golf balls
Great course
I always enjoy playing this course. For early season this course is in good shape. The fescue grass is getting taller which is making this course even tougher then it already is. Glad to see the updated GPS’s on the carts, they also have ball and club washers which is nice because most courses don’t have them out due to COVID.
Day of golf
The weather was a bit cool. The course was in good shape. The greens were very slow and bumpy, not like they always were
Favorite local course
I love this course. Great tee boxes and fairways. Great greens, amazing layout and love all the water! This is the best course for the money that is within 30 mins from me. Always a great time.
