Coyote Golf Club
About
At 7,201 yards, Coyote Golf Club in New Hudson has a layout that will appeal to long hitters. The course requires more than just the ability to hit long drives, though, with abundant water features and numerous strategically placed bunkers. Accuracy and creative shot-making are necessary to successfully maneuver the variety of hazards. Coyote's back nine is more open than the densely forested front nine, but it plays longer. The hole finishes with a memorable par 5. This hole presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with marshland that runs diagonally towards the triple-tiered green, which is also sloped from back to front. The level of quality displayed by the challenging design is also apparent in the immaculate conditions. It has a longstanding reputation for being one of southeastern Michigan's best-conditioned golf courses.

Very Nice Course
Beautiful course and layout. Some holes are very tight and you need to be very accurate with your tee shots. The links style course is very open but if your not on top of your game you are scrambling to save par or bogie at best. I just really wish people would repair their divots on the greens but that can be said for any course in Michigan.
Decent Course
All in All a nice course.
Only issue I have is contrived tee shots with mid irons then long shots into greens or having to hit iron off a Par 5 tee...generally I don't like when courses do this...I like more of a traditional setup.
play this course
greens were recently aerated but are almost completely
healed only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating
Long
this was my first time playing this course my friend and I always play from the tips which was over 7,000 yards. the way the course is laid out it really did not feel like it was overly taxing. it has some challenges but as usual if you keep it fairly straight you will do well. the greens are not overly challenging. was able to play this course do to free golf certificates from being a GolfNow member. definitely look forward to playing this course again.
Course was in good shape!
Love this course layout! I played the SILVER/BLUE tees and it was a very enjoyable experience. The greens were somewhat fast but were in top shape. Pace of play was very good. Played a round in just under four hours. Just love this course layout! Very scenic like being up north!
Pretty decent
Course was great until there was a 4 some taking way too long and slowing the play down a lot. Rangers didn’t come out till way later in the round and by that time it was too late. Loved the course layout pretty challenging but also not too bad for a beginner golfer. Really long par 5’s. Wet conditions from all the rain but other than that greens were really nice and challenging.
Terrible Pace of Play and Management
Course overall is decent condition and layout. However, the pace of play was horrendous. We waited at every tee box for the group in front of us to tee off. When making the turn the pro shop let the foursome in front turn into a fivesome as well as put a foursome off the back in front of the now fivesome. We were already 45 minutes behind pace of play and were now waiting on the back nine again. When we told the pro shop at the turn, they told my husband that it was husband and wife couples on hole 14 holding up the course. We decided to leave after 12 holes. There was no starter and the rangers only decided to do their jobs when we said something. If there is a group slowing up the course maybe a ranger should go out and inform the slow group that they need to let groups waiting play through. Just an idea though. We will not be back anytime soon even if there is a good hot deal.
Forgiving
Huge greens, well maintained, and no gimmicky holes until 18. Slightly overpriced compared to other courses in the area but a fun round.
Great
Played this course on a hot deal and was definitely worth it. Great lay out and tough holes. Will def be going back!
Good value
Greens are great. Overall condition is very good. Nice course and good price.
