Coyote Golf Club
About
At 7,201 yards, Coyote Golf Club in New Hudson has a layout that will appeal to long hitters. The course requires more than just the ability to hit long drives, though, with abundant water features and numerous strategically placed bunkers. Accuracy and creative shot-making are necessary to successfully maneuver the variety of hazards. Coyote's back nine is more open than the densely forested front nine, but it plays longer. The hole finishes with a memorable par 5. This hole presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with marshland that runs diagonally towards the triple-tiered green, which is also sloped from back to front. The level of quality displayed by the challenging design is also apparent in the immaculate conditions. It has a longstanding reputation for being one of southeastern Michigan's best-conditioned golf courses.

Fairway cut
Love playing this course. Being a woman with a long drive (for a girl)I found myself in the second cut because the Fairway was not cut from tip to tip. There would be a pause and then it would start again . I found this very frustrating as hitting a straight long ball and ending up in the ruff. I wish they would cut their Fairways from one end to the other without the break.
First timeer
I was immediately impressed with green conditions. Fastest greens I have played in quite some time. Fairways in very good condition. Challenging course. Would have been nice if water was available. Not s single water jug on the course and it was 81 degrees today. Saw cart girl twice all day. Cart paths are in dire need of attention. Seems like most attention paid to greens and fairways which of course is important. Would recommend.
Repair your ball marks
This is a nice course with a good staff.
I wish you golfers would repair your ball marks and why not another every once in a while.
Big large greens with holes that you can use your hole bag on.
I will definitely play here again.
great course
Great course well kept up at the end of the year and fun to play even when it is cold out.
You wont lose a ton of balls and the course is still challenging.
Some far shots played from the back tees, 480 yard par 4 or so close to a 600 yard par 5 yet still fair and challenging like it should be.
I would recommend this course to all abilities
aerated greens , slow play
all of the greens were aerated, but this was not passed on to us.
there was no control of people teeing off, we followed 3 two somes that were playing slow but playing redi golf
we seen oriental couples passing us up on the fairway going to holes in front adding more slow play
no aparent rangers to control this
An excellent course and a quiet country setting makes a wonderful experience
Coyote golf club is a jewel. A well designed and beautifully maintained golf course in a country setting yet close to home for millions of people.
Nice track
Very nice golf course. Well maintained. Interesting layout. Many doglegs that force driver out of your hand. Makes for long approach shots despite shorter length tee to green. In much better condition than many courses in the area right now
Review 7/23/18
The course was in good condition. The greens were kept very well! But I was not a fan of the staff. If you sign up as a single they will not allow you to play by yourself, be prepared to be paired up with others. You can definitely tell the staff is not a fan of GolfNow. I would rather play other courses in the area.
best in area
There are 9 really good public golf courses within 10 miles of Coyote (12 total). All things considered, Coyote is my favorite in the area. Great staff. Always in great condition. Pace of play is usually pretty good. A collection of unique holes with different challenges. It's right there in quality with Moose Ridge and Lyon Oaks, but without the prohibitive price.
Excellent Public Course
Great experience, good pace of play!
Everything 5 star except hole #18
