About

Holes 18
Type Public
Par 72
Length 7201 yards
Slope 130
Rating 74.4

At 7,201 yards, Coyote Golf Club in New Hudson has a layout that will appeal to long hitters. The course requires more than just the ability to hit long drives, though, with abundant water features and numerous strategically placed bunkers. Accuracy and creative shot-making are necessary to successfully maneuver the variety of hazards. Coyote's back nine is more open than the densely forested front nine, but it plays longer. The hole finishes with a memorable par 5. This hole presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with marshland that runs diagonally towards the triple-tiered green, which is also sloped from back to front. The level of quality displayed by the challenging design is also apparent in the immaculate conditions. It has a longstanding reputation for being one of southeastern Michigan's best-conditioned golf courses.

Great course but......

First time playing Coyote Club. Beautiful course, great shape and challenging. Greens were exceptionally fast with tough pin placements, almost a little absurd if you don't have a low handicap but it was still a great course. Look forward to gong back this season.

Amazing course!

Layout was challenging and makes you use al clubs In bag...a mix of obstacles await the golfer from a tree limb knocking down what looked to be a good drive to a bunker or water hole that you didn't bother to look for on card. Pay attention and you will score well! Greens roll true and cause you to take the time to gauge them...sad though I was caught by rain and had round cut short. Easy drive to course just off freeway! A must for any golfer looking to find a course worth playing! Staff are friendly and accommodating!

Course Play for Seniors

Haven't played course in a couple of years & really enjoyed playing again. Weather a bit cool and windy. As seniors, was pleasantly surprised to find a combination of blue/silver tees that gave us approx 5800 yds vs the 6300 yd blue tee yardage.

Fairways & greens were in excellent shape this early in the season. Course was fairly dry & we did get roll in the fairways. Very enjoyable round.

A little bit of everything!

This is a great course, its well put together and has some wonderful holes. On some holes you will find woods waiting to eat your ball, play it safe here and you'll have a good round. The trick to this course is knowing when you have room for error and when you dont.

1 Course - 2 Different Nines

Coyote is like playing 2 different courses. The front 9 is tree lined, narrow fairways whereas the back 9 is very wide open. I would imagine the back 9 could be a challenge if the wind is blowing. Really liked the course. Entire course was is in very good shape. Definitely would play it again. Good course for the ladies as well.

Great Condition

Nice course; very good condition; slow play but called ranger and the group in front of us picked up pace. Not the fault of course, just inconsiderate golfers.

Good course, reasonable price!

It was my first time playing this course. It cost only $39 for 18 holes with cart! In overall, golf club was very good comparing to the price. Courses were well-cleaned and well-organized. The only downside is restrooms. There are only two or three restrooms except the club house and they are portable.

Very Challenging Course and Enjoyable, Too

I have played here several times and brought three friends who had no played Coyote. They all enjoyed the challenging lay-out and beautiful surroundings. It's always a nice treat, too, to play a course that offers electric carts.

Good time & great value

Hadn't played this course in over 10 years, but it was well worth it. The course was in great shape with the exception of one hole that still had aeration holes on it and sparse grass in various areas. Couldn't understand as to why, they would put the hole placement for this day, right in the middle of the problem area, but fortunately it was only this green. Definitely, plan to play another 18 here in the near future.

Coyote country club

Had a good time playing this course. Ended up raining on the back nine, although nobody had any control in that. A lot of variety on this course. I definitely would like to play it again.

Nice course

Course was in great shape and very few golfer on the course. Lots of dog legs which forced me to use most every club in my bag. The "hot deal" price made booking this course a no brainier. The course did not disappoint.

Hidden Gem

First time play for me and my wife. Great Fall weather complimented by friendly accommodating staff. We were allowed to play almost an hour before our scheduled tee time(due to a open afternoon tee time schedule...lucky us!!)..We were able to play the front none in about 1hr45min..back nine we caught a 4 some that slowed us down slightly. We still finished our 18 hole round in 3hr40min..under the pace set at the course of 2:05 per nine.As a senior I played from the blue tees but I could see that the golds/black could offer a good challenge to the younger generation.... Course had been aerated recently so the greens were a bit bumpy but were healing.... it is that time of the season. Some of the nicest sandtraps I have seen this season...fine white sand. Was not in any of them surprisingly...just observed while walking toward the greens.Great rate thru golfnow for a Saturday afternoon. Hope to play here again soon

great michigan golf experience

I was greeted by the staff, and felt welcomed. The day was a warm fall day with trees in great fall color.
The Course was in great shape, as expected. So, since my eyesight is not what it once was, The lucky group behind me should have found half of the balls that I started with. Great course and would like to play again.

Good value via Golf Now!!!

Great time @ this course. Group in front of us was 80 plus years old and had no business playing from the blues. Folks please play from the correct tees!!! I check my ego at the parking lot and play to my ability as I was to have fun.
