Coyote Golf Club
About
At 7,201 yards, Coyote Golf Club in New Hudson has a layout that will appeal to long hitters. The course requires more than just the ability to hit long drives, though, with abundant water features and numerous strategically placed bunkers. Accuracy and creative shot-making are necessary to successfully maneuver the variety of hazards. Coyote's back nine is more open than the densely forested front nine, but it plays longer. The hole finishes with a memorable par 5. This hole presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with marshland that runs diagonally towards the triple-tiered green, which is also sloped from back to front. The level of quality displayed by the challenging design is also apparent in the immaculate conditions. It has a longstanding reputation for being one of southeastern Michigan's best-conditioned golf courses.

Tough Course in Windy Conditions
Coyote is a pretty challenging course--really long par 3's & par 5's. Varied and interesting layout. Greens and fairways in good shape. Surprisingly, several tees were quite torn up, which is a bit strange this early in the Michigan golf season. Maybe a result of a lack of thorough year end maintanence last fall. Overall, a good golfing experience.
Course was in great shape. Was able to play the round in less than 4 hours, which is always a plus. Back 9 has some good holes. Front 9 has far too many gimmicky holes for my liking. Hard to play without prior course knowledge. Couldn’t pass up the hot deal price. Would play again on a hot deal but wouldn’t pay full price.
Enjoyed the round the golf, what beautiful day. Nice playing a course that you got to use all clubs in the bag!
Course condition
Greens were excellent nice and smooth. Fairways were perfect. Beer in clubhouse was cold and the barmaid was friendly and and quick. Couldn't ask for a better day then that.
Nice day nice course
Have played this course many times over the years. The course was in good shape. My wife and I played in 3& a half hours. The guys at the counter were friendly and let us go off a little early. Very good course for the money. Love fall golf in Mi.
lovely fall golf
what a great place to play. Friendly staff, love the layout. Some holes really surprising, but lots of fun. Try to play here yearly.
love this course
I'm not a big hitter so this course plays a little long for me but the layout is great. Greens are fast. This course really for forces you to pick your spots in order to score well. This course is a little pricey for me to play often but is fantastic when you can score a hot deal price.
Great Experience. Worth a repeat for sure.
This is a really nice course with moderate challenges for the skilled golfer but easily playable for novices from the white or red tees. Beware, par 3s can be long from the blus tees!
No issues booking on line and checking in. The staff of young guys was profewssional and capable. The range balls were inexpensive ($2.00 for 20) and the range Ok. The turf was a little chopped up for a mid-morning tee time. Course conditioning was excellent. Greens were outstanding, very large with contours and some challenging but fair pin placements. Landing areas are generous for the most part with fairly wide fairways. The rough permits manageable recoveries with few lost balls. Water is not usually in play.
The pace of play was excellent. We finished in 4 hours and moved along with with little waiting. Never saw a ranger. We saw Ariana our cart girl 3x. She was engaging and personable. The snack bar did not have a lot of options however although teh staff was very friendly.
Overall I would give this course 4.5 stars. I will definitely put it in my play rotation and look forward to returning.
Nice, but slow
Pace of play was terrible. After 5 hours I had to stop early so I could make it on time to another engagement. Not sure if it was the quality of the players in front or just tee times grouped together. Previous time playing was just under 4 hours. No cart on the course due to a scheduling misunderstanding and that could have contributed to the problem too.
Fun Course
For average golfers, the course offers varieties and challenging holes. One of the best fun courses in metro Detroit.
Great day
Jason and the entire staff at Coyote d a great job moving play along. The course was in great shape and never had to wait long for the beverage cart to be around. Customer service and friendly staff. Love playing here.
Great course but......
First time playing Coyote Club. Beautiful course, great shape and challenging. Greens were exceptionally fast with tough pin placements, almost a little absurd if you don't have a low handicap but it was still a great course. Look forward to gong back this season.
Amazing course!
Layout was challenging and makes you use al clubs In bag...a mix of obstacles await the golfer from a tree limb knocking down what looked to be a good drive to a bunker or water hole that you didn't bother to look for on card. Pay attention and you will score well! Greens roll true and cause you to take the time to gauge them...sad though I was caught by rain and had round cut short. Easy drive to course just off freeway! A must for any golfer looking to find a course worth playing! Staff are friendly and accommodating!
