About
White Pines Golf Course in Swanton takes its name from the dense stands of trees that line the fairways. You'll find more than a thousand pines sprinkled throughout the course. Situated just 20 minutes southwest of the Toledo International Airport, it has been ranked as one of the 10 best golf courses in the Toledo area. The layout features large, undulating greens and two of the area's largest waste bunkers. It's a tough but fair test with front tees that are gentle enough for beginners and championship tees formidable enough for avid golfers. It's a seemingly short course at 6,850 yards but don't let the scorecard fool you, this challenging layout plays much longer. In addition to the golf course, White Pines also has a driving range available as well as a practice green with a sand trap.

Best in the area
Best public course in the Toledo area. Excellent green conditions, superb fairways, and overall challenging course. A variety of holes with ponds, creeks, mounds, and traps.
Slow play.
Very rude 3some ahead of us. Slow with holes open ahead of them. Talking amongst themselves without any consideration for other people waiting every shot.. should have let people play through. would give a better rating except for slow play which is normal for this couse.

I finally made it back to this course after a 10 yr absence … the trees have grown up since then … the course was in excellent shape after all the rain we had gotten over the past few days … management has always been very friendly and nothing has changed there … great course to play greens and fairways were in great shape

Excellent Course
Excellent course with very friendly and helpful staff. Played in a large outing, and course was very well organized. Pace of play was very good, and food was excellent. Course is fun, as well as challenging.
Decent course, good deal for the hot deal price. However there was a girls high school golf tournament that ran through my group’s tee time, which led to the round taking almost 6 hours on a Tuesday. The course needs to provide notice that something like this is happening, because I would have played elsewhere.
Like it a lot
Overall conditions of the course were great. Second time playing here and the pace was perfect both times. Set-up/layout seems very fair for all levels.
Enjoyed it
Course is in excellent shape. Played with another twosome we met at the course so it wouldn’t be slow as we were only a twosome. Pace was fine as a foresome. Highly recommend and we will be back.
Unorganized
Course was nice. Well kept. Good greens. But staff was very unorganized. They booked me a tee time right in the middle of a outing and told me to just go play between them. Outing guys were not happy about that and neither was I. Tee time was 2;48, didnt tee off til 3:45. Youngsters running everything were trying buy came up short.

Great afternoon
Joined up with two other gentlemen whom I had never met. Enjoyed their fellowship and had a good time. It was a great day. Did not lose a ball! That is a monumental feat, for me!
Nice place to play
The Owners and Employees are awesome people they all will take care of you, make you feel like your one family, you just want to play there. People have respect for them repair debits. Its just a fun place to play Golf and Sundays they always are cooking something in the afternoon. Even the Golfers that play out there are fun to be around because they all make you feel welcome .
