Stoneybrook Golf Club
About
Stonybrook Golf Club boasts seven sets of tees, making it a truly versatile course that any skill level can play. It has been certified by the National Golf Course Owners Association as being beginner friendly. The layout features wide fairways with generous landing areas leading to large, undulating greens that are bordered by intimidating bunkers and contoured mounding. The golf course is one of the longest in southwest Florida at 7,453 yards from the back tees, making it a long hitter's paradise. The difficult-to-read greens will challenge even the best players. The course wanders through a scenic landscape of pristine wildlife preserves. The sparkling lakes that are scattered throughout come into play, as do the abundant pines, oaks, and cypress trees.

Stoneybrooke
One of my favorite courses.
You need to pick the proper tee box for your ability
Great layout
With the super dry weather, the greens are a little too fast right now, but a minor complaint
Little overpriced
Course is in pretty good shape. The bag cart staff are honestly the best I’ve seen. Pure hustle and go out of their way to service the golf bags and clubs.
Kinda overpriced though. I understand it gets a lot of play from its residences, but for outsiders it seems pretty steep. For another 60-75.00 I can play one of the top semi private courses down the road.
Nice course
Wonderful course, pace of play was a little slow but it was a Saturday morning, it wasn’t terrible just a little slow. Course was in great condition with greens running true
Good Course; Poor Policy
My father-in-law and I had fun playing this course today, until it came time for the turn. They have a policy that they start people on one and 10 so despite making an early morning tee time, we made the turn and we’re sixth in line to go out. Their response was “play slower”.
They were a number of people, both before and after us, that were in the same situation and you could tell there was an immense amount of frustration. Once the final tee time went out on 10, the starter left and everyone was left looking at each other, wondering why it was taking so long. What should’ve been a four hour round turned into a five hour round really quickly.
It’s a good course for the value but this complete mismanagement of the early tee times will deter me from going back in the future.
Ok place to play to get in some golf
Not much creativity with layout. Greens lightening fast as it appeared little grass had no texture. Had to hit off mats in driving range. Definitely a public course
Would suggest other courses first
We booked this because it was all that was available on Christmas Eve morning, we had a 9:15 am tee time.. While the fees were in line with other courses during 'season', it was not worth it given the condition of the course. The course was 'mid' in terms of the condition of the fairways and greens. I would have expected it to be in better shape, especially for $115 a round. But the real disappointment was the pro shop manager. It was very cold, in the low 40s with a 15mh wind. At the turn we stopped and tried to enter the pro shop to see about getting coffee or something warm to drink. It was closed with a sign saying they closed at 10:30am. As I walked away the Manager made a snide remark about it being closed because it was Christmas Eve. No kidding?? I can understand that, but if they are fine to take our $460 dollars for greens fees then don't complain about it being Christmas Eve Day. They opened, we paid, and then were made to feel as though we were keeping them from being home on CED. One of the rangers was grumpy and borderline rude, he was clearly not happy about being int he cold on CE. On a positive the two cart guys were super friendly and pleasant despite having to be in the cold too. We tupped them well for being out on CE and also being pleasant and good troopers about it.
Ace
I had a hole in one one the 5th hole from the blue tees . Not a fluke, two bounces and in
Course in very nice shape. Greens running fast. Lots of water but easy to avoid with decent control. Good value w/ Hot Deal.
Nice Track
Water and nature areas make this a true Florida course. Greens were fast and true.
