About
Stonybrook Golf Club boasts seven sets of tees, making it a truly versatile course that any skill level can play. It has been certified by the National Golf Course Owners Association as being beginner friendly. The layout features wide fairways with generous landing areas leading to large, undulating greens that are bordered by intimidating bunkers and contoured mounding. The golf course is one of the longest in southwest Florida at 7,453 yards from the back tees, making it a long hitter's paradise. The difficult-to-read greens will challenge even the best players. The course wanders through a scenic landscape of pristine wildlife preserves. The sparkling lakes that are scattered throughout come into play, as do the abundant pines, oaks, and cypress trees.

cancel issue
I woke this am with a medical issue and was unable to play. GN would not let me cancel, so I suppose I've lost my green fee. Very, very, very disappointed that considering the use I've made of GN, I could not be granted a pass for an unforseen issue. It will certainly impact if I use GN going forward.
Always a good round of golf
We have been playing SB a couple of times during the last years.
Always good condition. Nice course layout and good value for money.
Fast greens show no mercy
Friendly and inviting crew! The starter explained the course and tee options with emphasis on having fun.
Greens were super fast and unforgiving, no free puts. Look forward to returning.

Bring a drink!
Enough with post Covid cheapness. $100.00 to play a round of golf and this club won’t provide a simple cup to get water & ice. They actually have a sign that you need to buy a cup from the concession stand BUT when you inquire all they have to sell you is a bottle of water, no beverage cart for a 85 degree day on a weekend, very average course with no ranger to monitor speed of play. It’s ridiculous you can’t provide a cup for water. Next time charge $105.00 and your guests might return. But they can provide a plastic bag and ice for a $25 six pack of beer.
Great Day on the links
Went out as a twosome with a friend. The course was in great shape. Found it rather challenging and easy to get in trouble so bring your A game. Staff was excellent. Pace of play got slow after the front 9. Would have liked to seen a marshal out on the course as we suspect there was at least 1 open hole two groups ahead. The weather was perfect and were were lucky enough to get the full 18 holes in by about 5:40.

Came in from St Louis Illinois metro area. Had great day. Super course. Only complaint no cups no ice. Easy adjustment they can make.

Second time around
My sister and I played with 2 brothers - we had a great time - USA and CANADA - friends forever!! We actually made it just as the sun set so the pace was good for us - although the brothers , being ace golfers lol, might have thought that it was slow towards the end
Staff - friend and helpful
If I lived here, this would be my course! Not sure if I will get to play again before I head back to wintry weather but I sure will try!! Keep up the hot deals golf now and bring back the prize for playing more than ten games - instead of encouraging us to spend more money on golf pass!
