Stoneybrook Golf Club
About
Stonybrook Golf Club boasts seven sets of tees, making it a truly versatile course that any skill level can play. It has been certified by the National Golf Course Owners Association as being beginner friendly. The layout features wide fairways with generous landing areas leading to large, undulating greens that are bordered by intimidating bunkers and contoured mounding. The golf course is one of the longest in southwest Florida at 7,453 yards from the back tees, making it a long hitter's paradise. The difficult-to-read greens will challenge even the best players. The course wanders through a scenic landscape of pristine wildlife preserves. The sparkling lakes that are scattered throughout come into play, as do the abundant pines, oaks, and cypress trees.

Beautiful course
I love this course but make no mistake I don't score well. According the slope and distance I should at least as well or better than my home course but I'm always 5 strokes higher. Like most Florida golf, those errant shots going into some trees on my home course are fish food and an automatic stroke in Florida. We caught the last week before the rates went up for peak season. Even at that, the rates are double my home area. Certainly worth it or I wouldn't keep coming back. I'm an older guy so I play the whites. For the big hitters there's 7300 yards and plenty of water to hit over. Sand was fluffy and consistent. Recommended.
Great track
True greens, good mix of tough and playable holes, saw alligators on the property. Worth the $100 greens fee
Fun course!
Greens were nice! Course a bit flood from the night before, drainage prolly needs to be redone. Challenging at times, but enjoyable. Will return.
First time playing around fort myers
Enjoyed playing this course. In good shape. Greens were super slow
I love this course, but don't try starting your round at 1:30
The course was great and there was no waiting to hit, but with sunset at around 5:30, we played the 18th hole in practically stygian darkness.
Solid course
This course is very well maintained for a public course that gets a lot of play. Good layout, pretty fair. Pace of play could be improved
Wouldn’t recommend
My wife and I played this course as it was close to mall she wanted to shop at.
We were paired with a pair of men, one of whom struggled mightily off tee and was in water off tee on almost all 18 holes.
We played exactly 4 hours and it could have been a bit more quicker. The Marshall complained that we were holding up the course even at 4 hours…hmmm
Greens were in good shape but fairways and tees are rough
Layout involves lots of carry over water
Watch out for alligators
I like iit because it is a very friendly women course
