About
Stonybrook Golf Club boasts seven sets of tees, making it a truly versatile course that any skill level can play. It has been certified by the National Golf Course Owners Association as being beginner friendly. The layout features wide fairways with generous landing areas leading to large, undulating greens that are bordered by intimidating bunkers and contoured mounding. The golf course is one of the longest in southwest Florida at 7,453 yards from the back tees, making it a long hitter's paradise. The difficult-to-read greens will challenge even the best players. The course wanders through a scenic landscape of pristine wildlife preserves. The sparkling lakes that are scattered throughout come into play, as do the abundant pines, oaks, and cypress trees.

The staff is rude
I got email from GolfNow telling me to check in on app then go straight to starter, which I did. The starter as extremely rude, he told me I didn’t check in, I told him I checked in on GolfNow and told to go straight to starter. His response was nasty and rude, he said he didn’t care what golf now says. I tried showing him the app saying I checked in, he wasn’t hearing it, just kept saying he didn’t care about golf now. I got the same response from guy in pro shop. Have to check in at the course. They could have been nicer about it.
All the holes were in the wrong spots
I've played there many times. One of my favorites. My biggest complaint is that they seem to place all the holes about an inch or two in the wrong spot causing me to take another putt. Another complaint. Any time I hit a perfectly straight shot it went straight for the water. This is a pretty course, but it is challenging. Plays longer than it is. Put your ego aside and play the recommended tees on the score card. It was unusually slow that day. 4.5 hours for the round.
Good course
Pace of play little long - 4.5hrs, but for a teatime at 9am that’s long. Course always good place to play. This time of year, it’s pricey but worth it compared to elsewhere
Lots of water to hit over
Great staff, course in great shape very well manicured. Probably the most friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Greens very good. This course requires you to hit over ponds on almost every hole. Not to far to hit over but they are definitely there. Some where about 160 from white tees to get over. The course has great layout some picturesque holes. The only drawback of this course is that it is very very busy being such a popular course. All in all I would return
Fast and well kept course
Course is in great shape and we were able to play the course in three and a half hours. Having a great short game area and lit driving range are also nice additions!
Nice golf course
Nice golf course, very good conditions all around, pace of play was on time, rangers circulating. Will gladly return for another round.
Nice Track with excellent staff
Very nice south Florida course. With plenty of water and lots of character. Quick greens and well maintained. Will play again when in the area.
Above Average
Stoneybrook is one of my favourite golf courses in the Fort Myers area. The par 3s in particular are long, over water and sand to small greens. At US$ 90 with cart this well designed, well maintained, challenging course is good value. Easy to locate and access just east of Interstate 75.
long round
nice course, but extremely slow pace, we started at 1.05 pm and could not play 18 holes because it was dark at 5.30 pm, , and all for 90 $
