I Recommend This Course
Slow play dilemma
Teed off on time (twosome) following a foursome.
By the 6th hole we were 20 minutes behind & foursome wouldn’t let us play through. Don’t know if they were members, but we wound up 70 minutes behind proper pace of play. Saw the Marshall twice in 18 holes.
Course conditions were just ok. Tee boxes chewed up.
Traps wet compacted sand with lots of loose impediments but playable. $130 per person we’d hoped for better course conditions.
I will come back as I like the course layout & green complexes. I think, given course conditions, $89 to $99 would be a fairer price.

Still a good place to play
I have played Magnolia Landing for the last ten years. I thought the greens on the back nine were a little thin as well as a few tee boxes lacking grass. The water comes into play a lot so this is a bit more difficult if you don’t fly the ball to the green. The staff is super friendly and accommodating . I like that you get free range balls still.
