Greens in bad shape. Moles
Heron backed up due to league play. 30 min hole one then 20 min wait on hole 2 only to find out it’s backed up. We scooted over to Osprey and finished. Our 2 partners quit as they had a 5:30 appt in North Fort Myers. It was apparent that if they stayed and played 18 they would miss their appt

Honestly disappointed
I’ve played Burnt several times over the past 5 years and it was always in decent shape. However this time the greens on pelican were really patchy and difficult to get the ball rolling smoothly. There were many burnt out spots on the tees and fairways as well. We won’t go back there this year but might try again next season

Course is ruined!
The layout is great - we have played the course many times in the past 10 years. The course condition now makes it unplayable! Green are horrendous - pitted, bare patches with sand on them! Good luck finding a grass in the fairway to put your ball on! Tee decks are pitiful! We wasted our money and gas to drive to this course.
The course needs to give people a WARNING about the course conditions and they can then decide if they want to spend their money there We will nit be back.

Horrible condition
Troon Golf should be ashamed to be associated with a course as unkept as Burnt Store Golf Club. Good luck finding any grass on the fairways and greens are sparse and sand covered. Supposedly there is some problem with the irrigation system, but I’ve played it a few times over the past 10 years and it’s never been close to pristine or even decent.
