Everyone was friendly, the staff as well as the patrons.

As for the course condition, I would give it a 4. Some of the greens weren’t great and the grass in the fairways was sparse.. The layout is pretty good. Overall it is a fairly easy course.

I would play it again and I would recommend it to a friend.

Starter

I suggest the front desk (reservation desk) communicate with the starters via radio in order to maintain current reservation tee times. The starters struggle with participants. Rangers were present on the course though I did not witness a ranger asking golfers to speed up play. I see the effort for the course to take that next step, which is good all. They have a mobile cart canteen. I was surprised. Big Kudos!

First visit for a year

Last played a year ago when on vacation in the area. Overall an enjoyable course though pace of play on front nine was very slow, maybe because it was a Sunday. Course conditions were I think slightly improved on a year ago. Very friendly starter/pro shop/bar staff. Better condition overall than Silverthorn but layout is rather short for better players

For winter it's OK

Grass is dormant so it is what it is. At 13 we ended up six groups backed up because of a par 3 over water and no Marshall telling them to go to the drop area and play from there after first attempt. We were backed up the rest of the back 9. Rumor has it management doesn't want to upset anyone so Marshall's aren't allowed to tell people to speed up, pick up or anything. Otherwise it certainly beat a great day in the office!!!
