Golfer Reviews
Not a snowbird
The greens are in fantastic condition the layout is great. The pace of play is now very good now that the snowbirds are back where they belong!
No Ranger monitoring play.
We were a foursome playing at recommended pace of play behind two other foursomes in front of our group. On the 11th hole a twosome which came up behind us about three holes prior decided to skip the 11th hole and went past us without asking and proceeded to the 12th tee. We waited on the 12th tee to play and due to us now being delayed to play, a threesome came upon us from behind and also decided to skip past us on the 13th hole and proceeded to the 14th tee where they waited to tee off. Upon finally finishing the 14th hole we proceeded to the Par 3 15th tee. Both groups that had recently passed us, without asking, were still waiting on the tee for the second foursome, originally in front of us to finish playing the hole. 2 players in our group were so irritated they quit playing and headed to the clubhouse where they lodged a complaint in the pro shop. On the 16th green we saw a ranger coming down the 17th fairway where he stopped and talked to the twosome that had passed us and proceeded to the 17th tee where he spoke with the threesome that had also passed us. He then approached us and said someone had complained about groups passing other groups without asking. We told him the whole story and he stated the two groups had admitted passing but both said they had asked and received permission from us to do so. We said that was not true, no one had asked anything and they just did what they wanted. He apologized several times for their behavior and stated what they did was strictly against the course’s playing rules and etiquette. If that was true we felt he should have removed them from the course and put us in proper and original position. That did not happen, and I believe any course’s best interest lies in supporting foursome groups and not tolerating rogue twosome or threesome groups causing chaos and major backups on the course due to their impatience.
Very nice and friendly
Love this course, for the most all areas ie. T boxes, Greens and fairways are kept up well. Obviously a little more attention to them can always be done. However I would definitely recommend this course. Staff is very helpful and friendly, small bar and restaurant is a great stop for lunch and a drink. The starter is smiling and keeps all those starts on pace. Once on the course you can get behind a bit as others might be a bit slower however everyone needs to play and enjoy.
Only downfall I could say is that occasionally we have some dirt bikes and atv’s come out by the 10th hole and across to the 11th . The best thing to do is contact the pro shop as they do what they can to address this and law enforcement comes out. This doesn’t happen all the time but it does happen.
Overall my wife and I love this course and the staff . Highly recommended checking it out .
Fun Day!
Another great day at the course. Great staff from top to bottom. Pace of play could have been better though. Amenities good, good value for the money. Course conditions are ever improving!
Pretty Average Golfcourse
Knew what I was getting when I got my reservation, very thin fairways and tee boxes. Nice layout and challenging holes. Fair to decent roll on the greens at least were not super slow. A 3-some jumped in o front of us when we made the turn. Made the back 9 slowwwww. Ranger was around couple times on the front, off duty back nine??? Didn't see him. Probably paid a bit to much but wanted to play somewhere, Recommend playing it if under\

NIce short course
First time playing this course. Greens, fairways and tee boxes in pretty good shape. Playing from the tips the course was barely 6000 yds so nice short course. Front nine is par 34 with back nine being 36 (perfect layout with 3 par 3, 3 par 4's and 3 par 5's). Greens were little slow but ran true. Very enjoyable day as the cart man ran us back and forth to the clubhouse after we finished our round. Nice touch
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
