Nice Course
Took a chance and drove from Jacksonville and was not disappointed with the course.
Some of holes force you to play smart and use long irons off the tee.
I will be back!!
What a treat.
Stopped in Lake City on our trip to the beaches. My clubs go everywhere with me and this course was near I75 and the hotel. We had an early round and it was obvious that the greens had been freshly mowed. The pro shop staff was very friendly and informative. The carts were comfortable and clean. My wife and I both work in the golf industry and we notice the smaller details of a well run course. The course itself is not particularly long or tight, but the doglegs and fairway traps will get your attention. This is a $50 course that is easily worth the fee. I’m happy to have found this course and will play again, soon.
Back again
Any time traveling up 75 from south Fla my wife and I always plan a round at a lake City.
Love the quite surroundings, the old Fla feel and the course layout.
Course and greens are in great shape.
We will be back
Great course
Don't know why it's not crowded, maybe because it's a Tuesday.
Played 18 in 2:45 me and my son
Always worth the trip from Jax
Cours in good shape
Greens punched maybe a month ago
Filling in nice
Best lay out
Always enjoy playing here. Hole #10 the most challenging hole in north central Florida!
Nice
First time and it did not disappoint. Greens were small but in great condition with good speed. Course was not very wet compared to most course. We have had a ton of rain. Tee box’s we’re in good shape. Bunkers do need some work but not horrible. Very friendly staff. Was a very enjoyable round. Will be back one day.
Nice course
Course was in good shape. Well maintained. Mixture of easy and challenging holes. Most greens did not have a lot of slope.
Good course
A little off the beaten track, but this is a good course. Good fairways and well manicured greens.
Bathrooms
All of the restrooms at the golf course were filthy. Nice course except for that one thing.
Avoid This Golf Course
My wife and I stopped in Lake City en route to break up our trip to Mobile and this was the only available golf course. The USGA should make them remove "Country Club" for the club's name. It is the worst golf course we've played in at least the last 10 years. The greens were half way decent, but the tee boxes were deplorable, the fairways were more dirt than grass and we'll probably have to visit a Chiropractor to get our spines aligned after driving over the broken pavement minefields that passed for what few cart paths existed.
