Harbor Hills Country Club

I have been playing Harbor Hills for the past Seventeen years as my parents live just outside the subdivisions gate the course is usually one of the best condition courses in the general area to play however right now because of overseeding the fairways are way too long the greens are also very patchy with overseed and very inconsistent so to be fair this is usually a very good course however take a pass on it for right now give it a few weeks for them to grow the overseed get it cut to an even length get consistency on the greens and get some of their low areas to dry out they took a pretty hard hit from the rains we had several days ago as most course did not their fault but right now this course is what I call a put on hold catch it in three or four weeks

Course was in average condition, had to keep carts in the rough due to overseeing which was not that obvious to us. Won' every playing here again for a while.

I've been playing here for 5 years, and I've experienced the good, bad, & ugly. I can say right now the course is in great playing condition. With the exception of a couple tee boxes browning (this place never seems to get rain) I would say the course is in the some of the best condition I've seen. F'ways were tight, & greens rolled and held great.

The super has done a great job of trusting his training and knowledge. Others should do the same!

It was my first time playing the whole course. Everything was great from a welcoming check in to friendly service in the restaurant afterwards.

This course is worth the ride for the day. There are a lot of interesting holes that are memorable and it's fun to play. Both the GM and the Golf Professional spent time speaking with us after our round.

We played in three hours and look forward to returning soon.

staff nice- mosquitos everywhere- fairways might get cut 2 times a week-

yardage markers on course no where to be found-course plays really slow because of the height of the fairways-

all 18 greens are covered with SAND and putting is next to impossible

sandtraps are in poor shape

played on 6/12/16 and it will be at least 4-6 weeks before the greens are decent

take alot of mosquito spray you will need it-they are really bad

1 positive -the course has a nice layout and im sure when its in good condition it would be fun to play but that time is not now

The course was decent. There were lines in the fairways from the mowers being set at different heights and the greens were in real bad shape. But all of the greens in this area are bad right now.

This is a potentially awesome course, but the fairways are weedy and irregular, greens are bumpy and a mixture of grass, dirt, and sand depending on the hole. It just isn't up to par. This particular day we were besieged with swarming blind mosquitoes. I didn''t know whether to bat the bugs or hit the ball.

Pretty vistas, though, and employees were pleasant.

The course was wide open and saw only one other group on the course. Played in under 4 hours.

Staff friendly, nice facilities, and a fun golf course. Several of the greens were not in good shape but I understand it's the time of year for the transition from winter rye to Bermuda so I was OK with the conditions of the greens. The pro shop check-in was fast and very professional. He even asked me if I had played there before and when I told him no he gave me a yardage book...that's great service! I will be back!

Played this course Saturday april 2 2016. The pace of play was super slow and I mean SLOW-2hrs 45 min for the first 9 holes. This might not have been so bad was I not frustrated by the greens being JUST AWFUL-there are more holes and sand on the greens than there are in the bunkers-not kidding. This has been the case for around 2 months now. WHat used to be one of the best courses in the area has turned into the worst. As if the greens were not bad enough, there were no Tee box markers on the back 9. I called into the pro shop after realizing this on the second or third hole on the back and they said they just had a tournament and that the markers would be put back tomorrow. WHile I can understand that the course was set up for a tournament, perhaps the markers should be put back for the afternoon players or close that side-just a thought. SO all of these factors adding up, I went into the pro shop at the turn and asked who was in charge. A 15 year old kid working the counter said he was????? So I shared all of my concerns. The response I got was the tee markers will be out tomorrow and we are fertilizing to help course conditions. The kid acted like he could care less about my concerns. I asked for the general managers name and he reluctantly gave iit to me. I called and left a message for him but got no return phone call. I wont be returning and I would suggest other courses in the area that are in better shape, have nicer people working at them and offer better customer service. I WILL NOT RETURN-JUST PLAIN AWFUL

Nice, fun course. The entire staff was super friendly. The course certainly has the "country club" feel to it. Fairly tight with very hard-pan ground when not in the fairway due to time of year and golf cart traffic... it was basically impossible to take a divot with a wedge from these areas so I started hitting 8-irons and rolling it up when in these situations. Some rain will probably remedy this problem soon enough. The greens are a little rough right now I'm sure due to time of year.... But look like they would be very nice when they are at 100%.

Overall very enjoyable experience and going back to play there again next week when in town visiting my parents.

course seems to get alot of play so cant expect a whole lot.... also greens are bad dont plan on making very many puts

I guess when you hear a lot about a course and it is not up to what you anticipated, one is disappointed. That was my round at Harbor Hills. In particular the greens were not in good shape at all, which ruins it for me immediately. Many bared spots sprayed green, but not putting friendly. Love the layout, but disappointed in the shape of the greens and I mean almost all of them.

the green are severe and their overseed was not very good. If you were near or above the hole even the pro's would not 2 putt. All else was good. The greens were built for Bermuda grass i.e slower pace having little winter grass made it tough. So we played take one putt and pick it up!

Fast greens and it will be a lot harder when grass starts to grow. Great layout

Always in good shape. The holes give a great variation rather than just similar holes going in different directions. I like to play different courses, but I play this course at least twice a month.
