Course was in great shape. Pace of play was very good. Greens seemed a bit slow but true.
Always better than working
Pretty good day out. Weather held up good., course was in great shape.
Greens are challenging but true. Rough is really tough and thick. (Stay in the fairway)
New course management company is starting to bear fruit.

Best I've Seen It
I've played here a few times over the last 25 years and conditions were often mediocre. Whoever is in charge of the greens is doing a good job. They are hard to read because of all the elevation changes, and you are wise to factor that in on your approach as several greens go right to left or left to right because of it, but they rolled true. Only complaint would be that either whoever cut the holes left some ragged edges or they were damaged by earlier players. Nice layout, nothing stupid, you just need to learn the greens. If you haven't tried it recently, you should.

Great layout
Played many times years ago, when Harbour Hills was frequent venus for mini tours. Glad to see it is back in good shape. Will play often.

Staff very friendly. Layout good. Greens very slow and about a third in bad shape.

Problems with many greens
Unfortunately many of the greens are in terrible shape presently. They were fine 2 months ago when we played here, but were aerated and sanded and now have bare spots and are very bumpy. This makes for a very frustrating experience. The pro shop offered a discounted rate for future play for the rest of the month because of this, but the course conditions make it pretty much a wasted experience.
Hopefully things will improve soon as this is a good golf course and the staff are very friendly.

Great course
Harbor Hills is probably the best value anywhere near The Villages. Excellent course layout and always in great condition. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Incredible
I have played all over FL, this was by far one of the more beautiful courses I've played. Elevation changes, tough pins. Great great, great par 3s. A few of the greens were a little discolored, but they rolled true. And it is winter golf after all. Fairways and sand were in great shape. Tee boxes were a little chewed up, but not bad. Great driving range, club house and staff! Got 6 beers for 20 bucks!!! I am going to be playing here alot!
Terrible greens
Was told after paying for our round that there were a “couple” of greens that were in bad shape and along with this apology came a discount coupon for the green fees for another round in March. It was thoughtful but hardly made up for the poor condition of the course today.
Scrappy conditions
Fairways were in good shape, and bunkers were fine. However, the rough was pretty choppy and some of the greens were in absolutely horrible condition with considerable bare patches...which led to my below average rating.
Staff was very friendly, and facility seemed to be nice - although I did not have a meal there.
Would suggest passing on this one and finding a course with greens that have grass on them.

One of my favorites
This golf course is always in really good condition has plenty of challenging holes has some real scenic holes and the 19th hole is fantastic great burgers. Atmosphere and great staff
Highly recommend this course!
I saw the bad review posted yesterday and I can’t believe we played the same course. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. We only played the front nine but our playing partners said the back nine were even better with the scenery next to the water. I was very impressed and can’t wait to play the entire course. Excellent value for the money. Staff were very professional and helpful.
