Thank you for your feedback. We over seed the greens in the month of December to protect them from the cold weather and also from the amount of play we get in the Winter months. It takes about 3 weeks before that Rye Grass fills in. We hope to see you back as we head into the new year. Brock Witmyer (GM)

Thank you for your feedback. We have over seeded the greens with rye grass to protect the Bermuda grass during the Winter months. The rye grass also protects the Bermuda grass from the 66,000 rounds of golf we get annually. This is a maintenance practice that impacts the facility during the month of December. Worst ever
Been playing Cleveland Heights for a number of years, the conditions of the greens were poor and the sand traps were just dirt. What a shame, this was one of my go to golf course.
Thank you for the feedback. We just over seeded the facility when you played. It is a maintenance practice we do annually in the Winter months. We over seed the Bermuda grass with Rye grass to protect it during the cold weather while Bermuda grass goes dormant. The over seed also protects surfaces since we get about 66,000 golf rounds annually. The over seed impacts playability for about 10 days, but is very important to the facility. Brock Witmyer (GM)

Great Municipal Golf Course
Fairway is good, the greens need some work but overall it was a great course. Well managed and pace of play was good. Layout was good also.

Somewhat challenging
Course layout offers a somewhat challenging test of skill. If you place the ball on the correct side of the fairways you can take on any pin. Placement is key.

Average public course
Played just 9 holes on Sunday 11AM. Facilities appeared to be pretty nice, but the course was just average. Layout was cookie cutter, not much character. Greens weren’t in the best shape. But you could do much worse for the money. Good value

Not sure I like the new single rider fees
If you to get extra cart or carts for group to not share carts there is a $20 charge for the extra cart. In our case we had 3 golfers. If we paired up it requires two carts. If we ride single it would require 1 additional cart. They would charge us each $20 for total of $60 to get that additional cart. If a you are twosome looking to ride as singles you are charge $40:for that same additional cart. If you a foursome you would be charged $80 for 2 additional carts. I realize single riders means more cleaning/sanitizing and could lead to shortage of carts.
Still like to play the course. There are some greens with issues currently.
Thank you for the feedback. We have got back to riding (2) players per cart unless it is a threesome or a fivesome like we did before COVID-19. Folks car wear their mask when riding in the cart with another player. If folks want to have their own golf cart then they can pay $20 member cart fee for riding alone. Fair for women
There are a few long par fours but yardage is fair for women.
Course is in excellent shape.

Saturday outing
The guy in the clubhouse seemed ok the started was a little grumpy. We played A and C course. The fairways were good and the greens were good little grainy. Weather was nice cool and breezy. The course was I n good shape and a good time was had by all
