First time on this course
This was my first time playing this course. I've been looking at it for a while a found a great Hot Deal on GN.
The course is shorter than I thought at under 6K yards. Staff is very friendly and helpful, tee boxes need a little work. Most greens are in decent shape. The narrow fairways and the water along the course are the challenge.

Schalamar
When I drove up I had doubts about this course in a small community of prefab homes but I was not disappointed. It’s not a long Course with tips at 6182. This is plenty long for me and most of us retired folks. The layout is great with doglegs making you use all your clubs. Water hazards are everywhere and you may lose a ball or two, especially if you hit one by an alligator. Greens are okay. I played after rain and I am assuming that is why the greens were not fast and a few holes were limited to cart path. I will play this course again, great value.

very nice experience
Played 5 different courses on our trip down from Michigan and this was the best deal. In good shape. Lotta help from the starter who also rangered. Would definitely come back.

BEWARE - GREENS, TEES, PACE OF PLAY, DO NOT PLAY!!
*****BEWARE OF WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY*****
TEES: First and foremost the course only offers 3 sets of tees. They do not have Black tees which leaves the total yardage from the blues roughly 5400 yards.
GREENS: Secondly, the greens have been over-seeded for God knows how long that they are actually Ryegrass. I’ve been playing golf for over 10 years now and I’ve never played on greens that were made of Ryegrass. Additionally? The greens have goose grass patches which is also accompanied by mud and decease. Golf Now should not be promoting this course due to the playability of the greens.
PACE OF PLAY: This was just the nail in the coffin. We were forced to start 20 minutes later than our scheduled tee time due to a senior league.
OVERALL: I don’t think there’s much more to say that already hasn’t been communicated. GOLF NOW PLEASE REMOVE THIS FROM YIUR INVENTORY OF COURSES.

Decent for the price
We got a good price on a hot deal. The course is a little short for me. The back side opens up a bit and you can finally pull out the driver. The course is in fair condition. We played in 3 hours and 15 minutes. That made it more enjoyable
