Huntington Hills Golf & Country Club

Located in Lakeland (which is half way between me and my friends in Orlando) we have discovered a course worth the drive. Nice wide fairways surrounded by homes is this fun course. Not too demanding but still with challenges we really enjoyed it and will come back again

We had 5 groups on hole 2,3,4,5. It opened up some but took 3 hrs to play 9 holes. The pace was just awful. Tee times need to be 10 min apart . All courses are busy right now but this is one of the few that has a pace issue currently. Course was in descent shape. Some of the greens were a little rough and others were fine. Descent layout descent conditions . It’s playable for sure. Other than the pace we were ok w it .

This is the best place we've played since getting here at the beginning of February! The course was in GREAT SHAPE from tee to green on ALL holes! The starter warned us that they had a group of 48 that might slow our two-some down...nothing could have been further than the truth...they were very quick ahead of us. After a couple of 5+ hour rounds, this was a FANTASTIC PACE...3 hours and 45 minutes! And the price was half what we are paying in the Orlando area! I want to stay here next February!!! Thanks!!!

Avoid Thursdays. The course is never lush or better than average, but the greens are always decent and that usually makes the value okay. Today, 30 minutes behind tee-time and 7 minute intervals resulted in over a 5 hour round. Contributing greatly to this is a morning group that BS’ and lolligags around getting off and isn’t particularly fast on top of that. They had a block of times but the group appeared much larger than what the course had blocked off. All in all, a very unenjoyable experience.

I played this course on 2/11/24 and was very happy with everything about this course. It is quite possibly, one of the better courses in the central Florida area. The value made it that much better. I have payed a lot more for courses that would hold a candle to HH.

The entire course was groomed very well from the tee boxes thru the green. The sand traps were even well maintained.

I highly recommend playing this course.

Unique layout with a few very challenging holes… lots of moguls, bunkers, and fairway sloping. Fast, well maintained greens…great staff…we’ll be back!

Course was in good shape and challenging. Clubhouse and restaurant was not impressive and washrooms needed some attention. Otherwise an enjoyable experience.

Course conditions are great for this time of year. Greens are pretty fast & very undulating. Takes a couple of holes to get used to putting pace. Overall it's well worth the cost.

Please stop the 5 some crap that we followed! "Oh we play here always are are fast enough to keep up."....BS! You finished with 3 holes open in front of you. A good course like this should not allow this as it may bite you in your butt

We played this for the 1st time as a half-way point between Sarasota and Apopka. What a great find for a very reasonable rate. We all agreed that we will back next year a part of the annual get together.

The greens on this course are huge, fast and undulating. A great challenge.

I highly recommend giving it a go.

Very nice course. Greens were fast. Some nasty holes.

The only issue is the pace of play.

It took almost three hours at the front nine, that’s way to long.

On the score card it says a round takes 4 hours.

Have played it twice in two weeks.

Everytime the pace of play have been the issue.

The first time we were there, a group of four in front of us was extrimely slow. One of them was crawling around on the green, to make the perfect put, which he didn’t.

Play was slow as they are overbooked and I was over charged.
