South Course at Big Cypress Golf & Country Club

It was like our own private golf course there was absolutely nobody out ….on the 11th hole a single caught up to us. We let him play through and we never saw another person on the course all day. It was just beautiful. I guess it’s the slow season in Florida now ….we love it.

Course was in great condition. Greens were slow and the fairways like normal were great. Did get a little annoyed with the amount of workers on the golf course at that time of day. I would estimate half of the holes had people working on the course. Not a bad thing i guess, keeping the course in good condition.

The course was beautiful. I would’ve love a ranger on the course because I had a threesome in front of me as a single and they played very slow and didn’t allow a play through.

The course was in great shape but the greens were a little slow to be expected this time of year.

My son and I played 18 holes and the fairways were in excellent condition and the greens were so green. We will be playing again

Pace of play was excellent! Greens were punched a couple of weeks before, but still rolled nicely! Shape of the course was excellent. Overall a great day. Challenging course!

Have played the course many times, would normally describe it as a great value, with friendly staff. Unfortunately, the greens were punched and sanded making putting irrelevant, and we interacted with the most unfriendly course attendant (Jeff). Jeff viewed his job more as a secret service agent (same facial expressions) than guest services - very out of character for this course. Wish we would have known about the greens and hope we never meet Jeff again.

Greens aerated but outside of that it’s I’m good shape as usual . I’m a few weeks it should be mint

The staff was a little confused once we arrived. No fault of their own a computer issues wasn’t allowing them to view tee times. We didn’t get notified the greens had been punched so it was a surprise when we got on the course. Great layout with excellent fairways. Once the greens fill back in it will be a great course to play. We will be back!

Great conditions, especially compared to other area courses. Green were excellent and fast. This is one of my favorite places to play. Could play ball down and a very good track. Highly recommended. Play mid-afternoon and no one else on course had the place to ourselves. Will return as had been a few years for me. May look to move there.

Course was in good shape, especially the greens. Good layout. Would play again.

Tees, fairways and especially greens were green with grass. Greens were very smooth and fast.

No patches of ingrowth grasses. Great all around
