This course is fun to play. They did have some challenges this past summer with the green but the crews have worked hard and they are improving.

Much Improved

Played here a couple years ago and it was terrible. Greens, fairways and tees used to be awful. The new owners (The Club at Gateway ) have spent some money on the fairways and greens. Greens were great but very very slow. Hopefully with the warmer weather they will speed up. Great value for your money in SWFL as rates have risen with Prime time golf.

They have had some challenges with their greens but they are in pretty good shape now. Just need additional dressing to improve the roll.

Great round for the money. The course is in good shape. Greens were a little sow due to the rain but rolled nicely. The staff is always fresh. Only the cart girl takes cash. CC only everywhere else.

Course was in good shape for a public track. The gentleman at the bag drop was very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the restaurant. We finished at 315 and went to the bar and we were told the kitchen was closed as they were bringing food out to other people. I would play the course again.

Best Conditions Ever At the Course

I have played the course numerous times in the past and it was easily in the best condition I’ve ever seen. The greens were great. The staff from the cart staff, the pro shop guys, the pub staff were fantastic. One of the best golf values in the area.

Bag staff needs customer service training

The course itself was nice. No real trouble. We had a 12:08 tee time on Monday, December 23, 2024. We arrived approximately an hour ahead of time since my husband likes to warm up before he plays. The employee at the bag drop was less than friendly. He made comments about how early we were and how he had to reach to get our bags out of the car. We were paired with a player and his wife who was just riding and had called ahead to confirm she could ride. They told us that the same employee gave them a very difficult time about the wife riding. This course is also cashless which is a major inconvenience.
