The Club At Westminster

Played here a few days ago. Pro shop was very friendly and got us out to play real fast. Got out to the course and was beautiful up until the greens. They simply do not exist. Dirt circles at the end of each fairway. Beware.

The Greens are in the worst shape I've ever seen them in 14 out of the 15 greens are unputable. The management was supposed to have these greens re-soded by the middle of August. Don't waste your money playing here there are plenty of courses in the area that you can play that are in much much better condition.

The greens were terrible, and some should have been under repair. others were totally sand covered. Obviously, they are not mowed daily as they were Real slow.

The rough has not been mowed for some time, it took forever to find a ball that was barely in the rough as it was so deep you had to look down on your ball. I lost 2 balls in the rough when I saw them go in the ones I found had to be hacked out. We are recreational golfers not pros, even so the first cut was a good 3"+ deep.

I will not be back even at their low price it's not worth the drive or the money.

Lastly in 90 degrees + weather no cart girl with cool beverages.

As advertised,many of the greens were in bad shape but we had a good time anyway.The rest of the course is in good shape so when the greens return,so will I...

Allowing 2 and 5 groups in middle of morning uncalled for. Never play it again

I've played this course multiple times and this was the worst it's ever been. The tees and fairways are in decent shape, although a bit swampy from all the recent rain. They recently aerated but that's no excuse for some of the greens to basically be bunkers. They said they're going to re sod in about 3 weeks so we'll see how it is after that

Westminster is a good go to course during the off season. Always good deals on Golf Now. It's a good track. With that being said, be sure to call the course and ask about the condition of the greens. Apparently they had an issue with fungus. They were all treated (black) It wasn't playable. I left after nine. I should have asked for future 9hole play, oh well. Call first before booking.

Staff are very friendly. Food in the Clubhouse is great. If you Tee off around 7am there is no one there at the Pro-Shop to get Practice Balls from so you start off with no practice. Greens are atrociously bad! I mean really bad!

I love the course, the staff and facilities. However, the putting green are in terrible condition. Overall, all have large bare spots with some greens over 50% with no grass at all.

So i love the place yet they have major greens maintenance issue.

Don't waist your money. 14 of the 18 greens are dead.

The course was redone and there is plenty of grass in the fairways. However, several greens have many bare spots and treated spots on the greens. When those are healed the course will be great.
