The Club At Westminster

Staff are great- some interesting holes. Rain has helped green things up and soften the fairways and greens.

Nice course but very expensive - even compared to other courses in SWFL.

Westminster is one of the courses in the Ft Myers area with green fees under $100 in season. It's an average course in layout and condition so try to play when green fees are $50. Greens were excellent and they do have good practice area. Service from 19th hole staff was terrible as they would rather converse with members rather than check out paying guests.

I always get treated like a member from the bag guys, through Dana and Stephanie in the restaurant, as well as the Golf Shop and starters and Rangers. I always enjoy playing here despite my setbacks on the course.

The course was in very good condition considering the drought. The greens were not overly fast, the fairways were green and the tee boxes were in good shape. The course layout is fun, the staff is friendly, and the clubhouse has a fully-stocked pro shop with a fairly large bar and dining area. Bathrooms are clean, too, but disappointed there was no locker room, so changing in the stall was a bit difficult. The club isn’t in the nicest section if Lehigh, so a few of the holes were noisy with some unpleasant views. Overall, a lot of fun and would definitely play here again

We heard the course had been redone so we were excited to give it a try. We found the fairways to be like hitting off of a street and the greens to be furry and not true. The layout was the same as we remembered from a few years ago. We think more bunkers were added but not much else had changed. We realize there is a severe drought and maybe this affected the hardness of the fairways but we expected better. Not worth the price.

It is worth the almost one hour drive from Naples to Lehigh Acres to play here. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating and they remember your name. The pace was under four hours for us as a foursome.

Got a great deal on Golfnow and had played before. Course was in decent condition. Greens ran true. Fairways and tee areas were dry, but given the lack of rain, understandable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s not high end but a fun course to play.

Excellent greens. Fairly open for a South Florida course. First world issue- the perimeter fence needs foliage. I played three other courses in Ft Myers area,and even though in planned communities or the Ft Myers country club they all gave me a feeling of being secluded from every day life. The chain link fence around Westminster doesn’t allow one to slip away from every day life.

The course is good in that it has multiple tees, fairly wide fairways, and awesome greens. Staff was great, as was the clubhouse restaurant.

Always fun to play and the friendliness of the staff makes it feel like a private club. A great value this time of year for the money. Greens are fast and pin placements make them interesting.

We enjoyed the course, the layout is good and has a nice balance of water and sand. Staff were friendly and eager to assist. The only issue was the fact we waited on every shot on the back nine from tee to green, the group ahead took their time visiting and not respecting the fact they were holding up everyone behind them. There was no one in sight in front of them and no Marshall around to get them moving.
