Stuck up staff and predatory business behavior
I’ve been playing Indian Springs for a while now being a newer golfer trying to improve and it being the closest to home. I can say with confidence that this past weeks experience with this course will be my last. From staff wanting to copy credit card info instead of sending customers online to pay for a round with the card “while they were having card issues”, to caring more about reselling the balls you hit into the woods than fixing any of the numerous things wrong with this course. Setting personal experiences aside there is better value at nearly ANY other course in north Florida or the tristate. 🫡
LOVE IT
Overall, Indian Springs Golf Course is a gem in Marianna. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's well worth a visit. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable day .
First timer and last timer.
Nice layout poorly maintained, holes looked like they have never been moved and were rounded at the edges. Course was not well marked and several holes were far apart. carts were good no GPS.
Good Golf
Only one thing first time play hard to know where is the next hole follow small map on score card hard to see…
Will be back
Second time playing this course, and enjoyed both rounds. Course conditions are good for this time of year. The fairways look like they will be changing from dormant conditions soon. Greens fast and roll true. Pace of play was under 4 hours. Staff working were friendly and helpful. A bit of a drive from Panama City Beach, but well worth it.
Good experience
The people at this course are exceptional! I enjoy the layout, although the greens were a little tough, a little inconsistent. But overall, a fair price and a good experience!
Nice Course
I play here about once a month and have enjoyed every round. The staff are friendly and the course is fun and challenging.
Challenging course, great value
Drove from Panama City Beach to Indian Springs Golf Club, and not disappointed. Friendly staff at check in, helped to explain course and having to cross over several roads. Used the driving range pre game.Next to clubhouse. Dry, but grass present to hit off of. The course is long and has an interesting and scenic layout. Several narrow fairways challenge you to keep drives straight, or you will end up OB. Greens in good shape for this time of year. Greens run fast and not too much bounce. Pace of play was good. Finished round, with a hot dog at the turn, and letting 2 solo players through, in under 4 hours. Great value for the money. Would recommend.
Love this track
This course plays very good in winter conditions. I love the nice variety of challenging holes. Pro shop always friendly A+
Greens are fast
This course has a nice layout and is a good challenge with some pretty narrow fairways on some of the holes. The main issue with the course right now is it being winter and dormant season for the grass, the fairways have somewhat tight lies in most places and is bare in others. Just play preferred lies and move your ball to a patch of grass if needed. The other thing was the front nine greens were dry, hard, and lightning-fast. The back nine felt like they had gotten some water recently and were a little more receptive and slower. Made it challenging because they were not consistent. Overall however it was a good day. Not many people on the course and with the good hot deal it was worth the drive to play. Would recommend giving it a try if you are in the area.
