Marina Vallarta Golf Club

Reserving a tee time was quick and easy, I just wish that their mobile site was a bit friendlier. We were unaware of the steep rental club fee until arrival - and they were unwilling to negotiate. Be warned, it's $54 per set of clubs. Staff not overly friendly or helpful. We were placed behind some really slow players, so the pace was less than desirable. The layout and conditions of the course were great. Overall, just an okay experience.

What a goat pasture. While a tricky layout, for a rack rate of $159 and Golf Now for $120, leave your clubs at home.

Positives … greens are pretty nice. Service in bar was great. Club attendants are very helpful.

Negatives … more forgiveness on parking lot surface than bunkers (don’t take a swing in sand for fear of breaking your SW). Overall condition of course is garbage. Pretty equal facilities to LA public course for $45.

Tight, demanding layout. Hard for me to score. Good greens, fairways and tees only fair. Lots of burnout this year.

The courses in PV charge a lot for club rentals. Clubs are beat up and do not unclude gap wedges. They are a terrible value

Great value for the money. Never gets old seeing crocodiles on a course.

The amount of wildlife there is spectacular. The staff was friendly, food was good, course was perfect. The group of 4 in front of us waited for the group ahead of them to completely clear the hole, then all 4 of them would cross up the hole and hit their balls 50 yards at a time. Pace of play was brutal, but everything about the course was great! Obviously just a one off of the brutal golfers we were stuck behind.

We had called the course directly and we were told we could share the clubs -there were 4 of us 4 men right clubs 1 women left no problem.. We get there and of course no we dont do that..she was kind enough to give us club rentals for $40.00 instead of $55.00. Our bill was $325.60 for 2 people. Fees & cart The course itself is nice.. they tried to charge us for a cooler of ice.. we said no we are not paying so they gave it to us.. bring your own water as they dont supply it as customer goodwill. We only played 9 holes.. lots of crocs they were friendly...😅

Lot of water, lot of sand trap, lot of fun, lot of challenge. However, you need to start before 15:00 if you want to be able to play the 18 holes because after 19:00 the darkness arrive fast. The sand trap are very hard. They should change the sand for soft sand.

A good course close to the airport. Great staff, good restaurant. Reasonable price. Cart included. Rented Callaways for $50.

farirways and roughs are dry so i was doubtful about the greens but they are in good shape rolling pure and you can spin the ball on it.

challenging course, great layout with bunkers and water.

Been joined by a couple on back nine. Overall it took me 3h15 to complete. Doug , marshall , help us to get over some slow groups

Overall , i will be back , it was - great day

The course is in great shape. The staff are excellent.
