Marina Vallarta Golf Club

Booked with Golf Now one day previous... lots of availability, which worried me. Came in as a single, ordered a cofee to go... mostly couples in front of me and one Foursone behind. No waiting around trees, which was good and when caught up was asked to go ahead. Hired a caddy... got a nice older fellow, Angel, who was very relaxed helpful and knowledgeable about the course. Course was not difficult even with the water holes. Played in the sand some which was fairly rough and pebbly.... the cart Ladies where excellent and the food delivery was great. It is a decent course with some challenging holes., greens are small to medium size, not supper fast on this day and fairways where in good shape. Fun course if you want to relax in PV...a few small Crocs was fun to observe.

An interesting layout that winds through a residential neighbourhood. The fairways are on the narrow side and the tall palms make some of them feel like chutes. The layout makes you hit plenty of irons off the tee to a location before attacking the green. Also, the greens are average to small and run pretty fast so you have to be accurate. Lots of false fronts that kick your ball back or off to the side. There is no shortage of water on the course so again accuracy is key here.

My wife and I had a lot of fun playing the marina course in Puerto Vallarta. It’s pretty narrow with a lot of water and fast greens. Lots of interesting holes. It should be easier the second time because the layout is a mystery having not played it before. Don’t expect to Fish balls out of the water Unless you feel like contending with 5 m crocodiles. Bring extras.

Good course, decent value for money. Greens were a little slower than last year. Lots of crocs to watch for. We will definitely play again several times.

Neat course, BIG alligators on it. Was interesting seeing them.

Played it day after a big rainstorm so conditions were a little wet but overall In ok shape. Unlimited range balls is a real plus since I hadn’t played in a few months. . Caddies are optional.

A challenging course layout with enough sand and water to keep you on your toes. Fairways firm, greens fast and in good shape.

Love playing this course, its got great fairways and beautiful water features throughout. Watch out for the Alligators, they are huge. The greens are great, fast and challenging. We played in the afternoon where the rates were better, but it was hot, we loved it. We plan on returning to Puerto Vallarta and this course is the closes to downtown and its one our favourites. Great staff and restaurant.

Marina Vallarta is always fun to play and super convenient to get to from town. While the fairways and rough are not perfect (with different types of grass throughout the course), the layout makes up for it. Almost a guarantee you will see Crocs.

3 hour round of golf! Firm conditions, lots of crocodiles and other wonderful creatures. If your games is off the rails, the nature will certainly entertain you.
