Good day for golf
The price was nice except. Golf Now App adds a Tax and when you get to check in at the golf course they Tax you again

Had written this course off a couple of years ago due to poor condition. Decided to give it a try since we were in the area. Noticeable improvement especially the greens and approach areas. It appears an effort is being made to return the course to its once outstanding condition. Hope to come back to check on the progress.
Bad tee boxes
This a nice course, in decent shape but the tee boxes are horrible. Staff is always very friendly, and pace of play is good,
Course Staff Management Lacking
The starter and Marshall need to be on the same page…they let a fivesome and a sixsome grouping back to back - which caused VERY slow play … greens were decent, fairways soft several plugged balls, tee boxes need a lot of attention … I enjoy that course … but who’s in charge???
TOO BAD GOLF COURSE
Nice layout if it was maintained! Tee boxes are just barely above pure dirt. Greens are okay except for all the divots. Play was way to slow, starter allowed 5 players and just in front of our foursome was a sixsome, Yes, 6 players. When the course Marshall finally came around, we complained and his remarks were it's just slow! This being on a Wednesday, I would hate to see the weekend. A 6 hour round of golf ! Horrible
What happened
This used to be a very nice course to play. When we make the drive it has never disappointed but it’s been a while since we last played. Right from the range we knew the course we in trouble. Most all the tee boxes had no grass. Most of the fairways were bare or dead. Although most of the greens were is good shape but some did have issues. Staff was not helpful one marshal gave us attitude when I brought up the condition of the course. Hopefully they can get it back but for now stay away
Ok course
It’s a good course, tee boxes and fairways needed a little help but I like the layout, I like the attitude from the workers when I arrive there. Good course always fun, if you looking for a great course this would be one of them in the area, they just need a little help.
Sonoma has become one of the best courses to play in the area. . Greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Some of the tee boxes require some attention but overall a great condition.
Staff is rude. Looks like they only hire a-holes and miserable a-holes
