Great Golf course!
Diamondback golf course is a great layout and the condition is immaculate! It’s a little bit pricey to play a lot, but I sure enjoy splurging now and then to play this superb course!

Course is always in great shape. Staff is always friendly and they have one of the best burgers in the town.

Back in Abilene
Course was in good shape. VERY GREEN in July! This is very unusual in Texas. A few brown spots on the outside of some of the greens. Did not really affect the play since it was on the outer edges of the greens. Guessing this is damage from the extreme freezing back in February. Even got to tee off 30 minutes early and played the course in reverse Back 9 then Front 9. Appeared to be a small tournament and the starter sent me off on # 10. Awesome experience, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Almost
They haven’t recovered fully from the frozen week of bad winter weather in February. Some areas around the greens are completely dead. Overall pretty nice though. Wish it wasn’t $65, but as a once in a while treat it’s ok
