Well Manicured Course
Diamondback is a well designed and manicured course! Tee boxes have good grass, fairways are tight and lush and greens are well mowed with just the right speed for interesting putting. The course is challenging but not overly difficult. Fun to play!
Sadly Best In Abilene
Course itself is in good shape and a great layout. It’s always fun to play. However, the shop staff and the golf Marshall are horrible. Always rude in the shop and the golf Marshall spends his time looking for balls or harassing people about their beverages. Played many times were play was extremely slow and groups were much bigger than allowed, but at least the golf Marshall kicked a group off for drinking beer not purchased there and found lots of balls in the bushes. Snack shop/cart staff are always great and snacks aren’t too overpriced.

Golf in Abilene, Texas
I expect windy in Abilene, Texas. So, it was windy, but enjoyed playing the course. The course is fun and interesting in the hills, valleys, doglegs, and raised tee boxes. The course was in very good condition. The greens were excellent. I loved the green on 18 with the tall back board. I look forward to playing the course again. A very good choice in Abilene, Texas.

Great round in a little over 3 hrs
One the prepaid golfers became sick the night before and Diamondback understood and only checked in two of us. However, no way to get credit or refund of the one green fee not used from tee.com.
