About
Long and susceptible to the wind, White Stone Golf Club rolls through an impressive Hill Country-like setting with huge oak trees, lots of rocks, and loads of native oaks, cacti, yucca, and wildflowers.
Bunkers are everywhere on this 7,100-yard Jeff Brauer design, and water comes into play on about seven holes. The key to scoring well is keeping the ball below the hole, avoiding nasty downhill putts on the extremely fast greens. White Stone's par 5s are tough, and average golfers should probably play them conservatively and be happy just getting there in three, since three out of four are fronted by hazards and require carries.
On the front nine, no. 1 tests you early -- it’s a 555-yarder with a creek that crosses the fairway and forces a layup on the second shot. No. 9 is nice as well, a 360-yarder that should be played with a short iron to lay up in front of the creek. This hole features a nice dip in the center of the green that requires knowing the correct pin placement.
White Stone Golf Club's back starts strong like the front, opening with a 580-yard par 5 with a sloping fairway that is cut by the creek on two occasions. No. 11 is the best par 3 on the golf course -- a 200-yarder that plays dow hill over a creek and into a creek surrounded by bunkers.

Great course
I have played Whitestone since the late 90"s and it remains a great course at a fair price. Greens were quick!

Love the course
We played this course for years. It got really bad for awhile so we stopped playing it. Tried it again about 6 weeks ago. Have replayed it several times since. Love it.

Whitestone has stepped up!
This course has really become a gem for Fort Worth area golfers. I started playing here a little over 2 years ago and the changes this course has taken on are outstanding. You can really tell the management has invested big in the course and all the little things that go with it. The staff is friendly, the course has been pristine, Greens are fast and perfect every time I’m out there. When a course puts so much effort into becoming something special they absolutely deserve credit. Probably the best value for a round in the area! Keep it up!

Those greens!
Greens are the highlight of this course. They are very receptive but not overly soft. They’re fast and roll true.
Staff is always great and cart girls get around the course quickly.

Great value for money
We played on a Sunday morning and had a great time. The course is as full of foursomes but play was still pretty good. Payed a little under $40 a person. Course was in good condition. Greens rolled good. Will be back another time.

Fun and nice
Played this course several times, I'm just a beginner so I dont know all the golf ins and outs. The course seems to be in great shape from my previous rounds. I like that its fairways are wide open ( I slice a lot LoL) the greens seem fast. some tee boxes are hard to put a tee in, only a few though. Staff is friendly, cart girls come around often enough for me. Driving range is closed right now for maintenance. Had deer watch us tee off on hole 3 that was a first for me. All in all this is my favorite course to play. Would recommend for anyone to play.
