Long and susceptible to the wind, White Stone Golf Club rolls through an impressive Hill Country-like setting with huge oak trees, lots of rocks, and loads of native oaks, cacti, yucca, and wildflowers.
Bunkers are everywhere on this 7,100-yard Jeff Brauer design, and water comes into play on about seven holes. The key to scoring well is keeping the ball below the hole, avoiding nasty downhill putts on the extremely fast greens. White Stone's par 5s are tough, and average golfers should probably play them conservatively and be happy just getting there in three, since three out of four are fronted by hazards and require carries.
On the front nine, no. 1 tests you early -- it’s a 555-yarder with a creek that crosses the fairway and forces a layup on the second shot. No. 9 is nice as well, a 360-yarder that should be played with a short iron to lay up in front of the creek. This hole features a nice dip in the center of the green that requires knowing the correct pin placement.
White Stone Golf Club's back starts strong like the front, opening with a 580-yard par 5 with a sloping fairway that is cut by the creek on two occasions. No. 11 is the best par 3 on the golf course -- a 200-yarder that plays dow hill over a creek and into a creek surrounded by bunkers.

Favorite course in Fort Worth area
One of the best if not the best course in the Fort Worth area for the price. Not crazy overpriced still a good number but worth it by far. No one likes the cart path only days but doesn’t feel like a marathon on this course even when going opposite side of fairway of cart path. Will be back as long as I’m golfing.
Best in the south west
Whitestone is the best public course for the money in the area. The greens are fantastic always and they’re consistently doing things to make that course better. Great job Whitestone
Great Golf Course ,Great Staff,Great Maintenance Staff, Great Fairways,Greens & Tee Boxes..
Only negative is some Bunkers have no sand in them but they are working on them.
There is a hole lot to like about Whitestone
Need to space people out more
Was a fun course on the back 9 and in sure the front could’ve been fun but it’s ridiculous how crammed the front nine was. 4some behind us were absolutely rude and unbearable to play in front of. Please space more time in between and checking receipts to start is a little unnecessary. Had a good time at the end but miserable to beginners.

Great Golf Course
Definitely one Tarrant County can be proud of.
They are stacking tee times up so close together it's backing up play where you spend a lot of your time watching group in front of you tee off and have no idea why you can't drive cart on #1 fairway its in great shape except along the cart path where grass will never grow bc of trees blocking out sunlight.
Overall this is a fun place to PLAY thanks to the dedicated STAFF
