Long and susceptible to the wind, White Stone Golf Club rolls through an impressive Hill Country-like setting with huge oak trees, lots of rocks, and loads of native oaks, cacti, yucca, and wildflowers.
Bunkers are everywhere on this 7,100-yard Jeff Brauer design, and water comes into play on about seven holes. The key to scoring well is keeping the ball below the hole, avoiding nasty downhill putts on the extremely fast greens. White Stone's par 5s are tough, and average golfers should probably play them conservatively and be happy just getting there in three, since three out of four are fronted by hazards and require carries.
On the front nine, no. 1 tests you early -- it’s a 555-yarder with a creek that crosses the fairway and forces a layup on the second shot. No. 9 is nice as well, a 360-yarder that should be played with a short iron to lay up in front of the creek. This hole features a nice dip in the center of the green that requires knowing the correct pin placement.
White Stone Golf Club's back starts strong like the front, opening with a 580-yard par 5 with a sloping fairway that is cut by the creek on two occasions. No. 11 is the best par 3 on the golf course -- a 200-yarder that plays dow hill over a creek and into a creek surrounded by bunkers.

Fast greens that roll really well, slow pace of play though
Great Time just really enjoy this Golf Course EVERY time we play here.

Worth the drive to the course!
I really enjoyed playing this course. The overall conditions of the course was in great shape. I'll be heading back there again to play more rounds.
Need Marshall's
We were a group of 3 behind twosome and several foursomes ahead. The groups ahead struggled to keep pace of play, Witnessed them searching for golf balls instead of playing their shots. Really put this course in bad review since it wasn't monitored an people who didn't follow basic golf edaicet. Might review the no Marshall during the week.
Greens are great maybe a little fast

Bunkers far better
Tee Boxes are BEAUTIFUL
No reason to not come back.

An absolute gem of a find
This course was not our first choice but wow it would definitely be going forward. A great lay out and superb greens and fairways. Fabulous friendly staff and members were so lovely too. Practice balls were part of the teetimes as well as cold fresh water not only on the practice ground but all around the course. A must play course if you get the chance.
Saturday outing
Finally I got to play a round of golf with my son. The course was in good shape but the place was packed!! The threesome that was in front of us were extremely unethical. The one was giving the other lessons while the third would take multiple practice swings only to duff the ball 50feet. I get that other people are learning but do that on a weekday not a busy weekend. So because of them we couldn’t get in 18 holes before dark. When honestly we should have finished about a hour before that.

Great shape. Course has came along way from 2 years ago. I truly to play here 2 or 3 times a month.
Great layout, slowest round ever!
I really wanted to love the course. My Son and I were both playing great but waiting 15 to 20 minutes on every hole is just about as ridiculous as it gets. We were supposed to tee off at 3:12 PM and didn’t end off teeing off till about 25 minutes later. We should’ve been done with our round around 7:15pm and we ended up leaving with four holes still to go at 8 PM. Very very frustrating. Really liked the course but the pace of play is just stupid. Fix the piece of plate and this will be a great place to enjoy a run of golf. Should’ve learned from the other reviews.
