Whitestone Golf Course
About
Long and susceptible to the wind, White Stone Golf Club rolls through an impressive Hill Country-like setting with huge oak trees, lots of rocks, and loads of native oaks, cacti, yucca, and wildflowers.
Bunkers are everywhere on this 7,100-yard Jeff Brauer design, and water comes into play on about seven holes. The key to scoring well is keeping the ball below the hole, avoiding nasty downhill putts on the extremely fast greens. White Stone's par 5s are tough, and average golfers should probably play them conservatively and be happy just getting there in three, since three out of four are fronted by hazards and require carries.
On the front nine, no. 1 tests you early -- it’s a 555-yarder with a creek that crosses the fairway and forces a layup on the second shot. No. 9 is nice as well, a 360-yarder that should be played with a short iron to lay up in front of the creek. This hole features a nice dip in the center of the green that requires knowing the correct pin placement.
White Stone Golf Club's back starts strong like the front, opening with a 580-yard par 5 with a sloping fairway that is cut by the creek on two occasions. No. 11 is the best par 3 on the golf course -- a 200-yarder that plays dow hill over a creek and into a creek surrounded by bunkers.

Worth it !
The staff were great ! Everyone very friendly.Never played there before and it was great. The greens were very fast . Looking forward to playing it again!
Great course
Very fun golf course. Challenging, but fair. The greens are some of the fastest and dramatic in the area. Get ready for a few 3-putts!
Painfully Slow
Have played here a couple of times in the last month or two. On both occasions, we were not able to tee off until 15-20 minutes after our scheduled tee time and could only play about 10 holes in 3+ hours. It’s just a shame because otherwise the course and greens are in really good shape. A better job staggering tee times and enforcing faster pace of play could certainly make a difference.
Good space but fast greens
Course was in good condition. The greens were very fast with hole placements on some type of slope. Would like to have a few flat putts.
Decent Course
Course was a bit challenging and very crowded , the tee times need to be more spread out, I felt rushed. I never saw the cart girl and I was getting hungry for a snack. Overall not bad for the money and I would come back and play here again. Shoutout to the people I got paired to play with very nice and patient!
We always have a great experience, the Staff &the Course..They go out of their to raise the Standard.
Thanks to ALLat Whitestone Golf Course.
Great Course
Course was well taken care of. Greens were pretty fast today. Staff on carts were great. Inside bar staff a little less than accommodating though. We started off 5 behind and with a party of three stayed there all round and got too dark on 18. Overall a great experience.
Great round! Great course for the price!
While on a golf trip to the Fort Worth area i was asked to select a course for our group to play. After searching several sites and reading many reviews. I chose Whitestone. After days of rain and playing courses cart-path-only and 90 degrees it was time to play Whitestone. The course was beautiful, green and to my surprize dry enough to rise on! From tee boxea to greens were excellent! The layout had challenges for players of all skill levels. The staff was friendly and professional. This is a course that will be on my have to play again list on subsequent trips to the area and for some time.
Beautiful Course! Well worth the green fee.
Overall the course was beautiful. Not too easy but not hard. My only complaint(s) is there was 3 groups ahead that were about 3 holes behind pace. It took a while for the Marshall to get them moving. Restrooms and port-a-potties were disgusting. I’ll definitely play there again, however.
Really Nice Course
All this course needs is real sand in the traps. Otherwise great course.

Twe boxes and greens in great shape. Greens running about 12, so pretty fast. Staff was SUPER friendly! Carts in good shape and free water in a cooler attached to the cart was a nice touch. Practice area was in good shape. Good value for the money.
