Nice place to play with good use of natural features

Course is in great shape with beautiful views. I had two issues when I played this course on a Thursday morning. Multiple ladies groups playing very slow and taking forever looking for balls . The second was actual members of the club I came across where very unfriendly and rude . Parked their carts wherever and then gave you dirty looks when you tried to go around.

Once country star, George Strait and his partners bought this course, expectations were high.. There's still work to be done, and being in an extreme drought area doesn't make it easy, they have made some great changes..the staff, from the pro shop to the food and beverage is so much above most 5 star resorts..Pro shop is well stocked.. All current apparel.. Having retired from creating charity golf tournaments, I can't stress enough, if you're looking to host an event, give them a call..

Tapatio springs was an absolute pleasure- staff was friendly and helpful in the clubhouse, cart came with complimentary ice and cooler, and the gps was a definite luxury. Make sure to show up early and get some time in at the range(comes w/ your round), but expect a long well maintained course. Will return again!

got a really good price to play, so that made it worth it. I'm just used to playing at a quicker pace, ive never seen a 3 some take as long as the group in front of me did, while on the green. It was terrible, but thats not the Resorts fault. other than that, it would have been perfect

I will not be playing this course again anytime soon. The tee boxes were a mess, sand and weeks were more prevalent than grass...never good. The fairways were hard, even thought it rained the night before and the greens were bumpy and very slow. The staff that greeted me at check in, were rude. I play gold all over Texas and the staff at this course is and has been for the past 2 years been the absolute worst bar none. Glad I only paid $10, because otherwise, I would have felt like I had been robbed!!!

It has been a couple of years since we've played that course. But we enjoyed playing the course and would play it again it we get a chance.

Despite water conditions, the condition of the course is better than it was a couple of months ago.

Was a little disappointed with the beverage cart girls. We saw one on #3 hole and no more. When we teed off on 15 and came to our t shots there were 2 beverage carts sitting at the par 3 7th visiting with a group of guys. Some gatoraide or something like a snack would have been nice. It was hot and when you are old that is not a good combination. Bunkers could use some work.

Great place to bring friends, or business partners. Great service.

My friends and myself had a lot of fun. We would love to play there again. The only thing missing is a cart girl

Great layout and fun to play. Tee boxes were shaggy and greens very slow. Difficult to find my way around the course. Need more signage to show direction to tee boxes. GPS had me on the wrong hole twice. Worth the price.

I've played here several times and it's always a fun experience. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

You couldn't ask for a better place to put a golf course every where you look it's beautiful ponds hills and cliffs I have played almost every course in San Antonio and I would put this one at around top 20 and if the greens were in a little better shape it would be top 10 I will return and play this course again in the winter and compare conditions then

Nice layout with beautiful scenery. The greens need a little work but overall playability was great.

The texture of the grass on the greens was course.
Possibly with more growth they will be as good a Willow Springs.

This is a must play course. Not overly challenging but has some risk/reward holes. Some greens could use work but the overall condition and beauty of the course is amazing. A good chance to test all over your game

I think with a little more care and maintenance, this course could be much, much, better potential, and the Green Fee cost for the place is not worth it, due to the distance you have to drive (From San Antonio) and the amount of options out there.

What a great place to relax and play golf. The staff was amazing. Hospitality started in the parking lot with Taylor and extended throughout the course and the day, even the grounds crew was willing to stop and talk. Jonathan and Stewart (the assistant pros) are awesome guys and willing to help. Even the locals were a joy to talk to and play golf with. The grounds crew has done an amazing job with the course with little water. We will definitely return to Tapatio, hopefully soon.
